They will try to avoid the hurricane. Their first concern is your safety. They will attempt to go to a port that has an opening to fit them in. Each port can only fit so many ships at one time. There is always the possiblity that it could turn into a cruise to Nowhere. But they will try to avoid doing that as they also make money on the excursions. And they also give you an on board credit for the port fees if they do not go into port.That usually is about $20 or $25 a person per port.
