We just returned from a week on Glory.  Our best side trip was in Costa Maya.   We booked the Mayan Experience tour through Ivan at http://www.thenativechoice.com.   The tour included a guided tour of the Chachoben Ruins and lunch with a Mayan family.  It is perfect for all ages.   Ivan grew up in the Mayan village and he knows all about the ruins and the Mayan culture.  We learned how to make tortillas and then sat down to a wonderful lunch prepared by our Mayan hosts.  The authentic Mexican flan was to die for!!!
