My husband and I are doing 2 back to back Dream Cruises...12 day Oct 15 Med then the 16 day Trans Atlantic.  I've been told I can spend the day on board once we check through customs however; we want to do a shore excursion.  Does Carnival not have some kind of excursion available for back to backers?  I was told on the phone no....does anyone else know of any?  Thank you, in advance:-)

I just want to touch base with you. I looked and do not show any tours being offered. I have sent an email requesting some information, I am not sure but I would think you can get off and do your own thing. 

If you can get off the ship even though we are not offering a tour the information desk would be able to give you some ideas of what you can do. I will write back after I get my response.

I have a suggestion, we do offer pre tours from the airpiort.  You would have to take taxi to the airport to catch up with the tour, and then they would bring you to the ship. You would need to arrange this on the ship with the information desk, as they might have other options and ideas to offer you.
