Akasharogue:Still looking at excursions, can't decide. Took advantage of the price drop a couple weeks ago when it first happened. Talk about exciting!! Now if only we could get a room upgrade... I'd love to be in a balcony room before we sail, but I'll take what I can get! If we can make it through the holidays we're home free and before you know it we'll all be in So Cal, sailing away to the sounds of a Mexican guitar... :D
We are still looking at excursions as well can't decided either.
We are going the week before you (2/14) and as tho I am not looking
forward to winter & cold & snow, I am looking forward to
FEBRUARY! lol
This is an excursion we are thinking about for PV:
Sea Safari & Hidden Beach & Snorkel
- Just a short walk from your ship, your guides will provide a safety briefing before boarding your speed boat.
- Zip along the shores of Banderas Bay en route to Quimixto and Pizota, two hidden jewels which are only accessible by sea.
- Your first stop is the remote seaside village of Quimixto; land
your inflatable boat right on the beach and enjoy a leisurely horseback
ride through the jungle to arrive at a breathtaking waterfall.
- Cool off with a refreshing swim in the waterfall and then continue
your boat ride to Pizota, a remote fishing village with the tropical
ambiance you’d expect to find on a South Seas island.
- After enjoying a freshly prepared buffet lunch, you can relax on
the beautiful beach, swim, explore the jungle, kayak along the pristine
shores, or walk through the quaint village to get a glimpse of how the
locals live.
- You’ll be mesmerized by the beauty and tranquility of this remote
village, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind before
returning to Puerto Vallarta.
(got this off the Carnival site)
