Jeregirl, try priceline.  We bid for a 3 star or higher in downtown Miami (all the hotels 3 stars or higher are ncie hotels, close to the Port) and won the Holiday Inn POM for $110 for January 9th.  I doubt you'll get under $100 a night as winter is the busy season for Florida.  Good luck!

Joni, I did try the Holiday Inn web site and they aren't giving any prices for a 1 night stay on Feb 13.  My TA works for the AAA, don't think she can get extra bucks.

czimm, I will try priceline.......um, just how does one do that?

Maybe thats because its a holiday weekend and you only want a saturday night? I'm able to price out a sunday night one night stay there for the time I'm traveling..
