Is anyone else on this sailing? My husband and I will be along with our lovely adult daughter (who will fly in from San Diego) and then drive down to Mobile December 14, 2009.
We are all very excited about our first CAT 12 penthouse suite with balcony. It's a gift to ourselves, we each have birthdays all within a week of one another, plus it's a nice Christmas gift. So, this is the best present ... ever!
Just cannot wait! Don't laugh, but I already have the bags packed. I have read for weeks on this board and on Cruise Critic as much as I can, taking copious notes along the way. I really appreciated Cruise Diva's website too for her great advice.
We have our passports now just after a few weeks of waiting and have prepaid for tips and trips. Thinking about purchasing several drink cards, one for each of us, just in case. Opted for the late seating at dinner to give us more time. We have even talked about a spa day for a relaxing beauty treatment.
We last sailed with Carnival on the Inspiration in May of 2001 and had seven wonderful, busy, great, adventurous days. This will be a birthday wish and Christmas gift that is a Fantasy come true!
