Hi! Are you talking about the Fantasy ship Cruise out of Mobile the 24th of December?? If you are, then there are 9 of us going to celebrate our parents 50th wedding Anniversary! We are so excited and for all of them except for me, they have never been on a cruise, so any other info like little tidbits that might make our sailing easier would be great! I have read a lot on the FAQ sheets and stuff but possibly a little unclear as to whether we should pack some clothes in our carry on? Also if there are three in a room. then where do they pull out the other bed? Also, any other thoughts you have would be appreciated! Thanks, Suez

My husband and I, my mother, my brother and sister-in-law and my niece will be on the Christmas cruise.  We have never been on a cruise in the winter. Any suggestions as to clothing?  I love the idea of decorating the cabin doors.

Oh great, more kids!  As for clothing, who knows...lol.  It may be 70 or 40 in Mobile at Christmas.  In Mexico, it will be warm.  I am bringing slacks and capris, long and short sleeve shirts....probably a wind breaker or light sweater for the deck at night.  I found the cutest little trees for our cabins at Dollar General yesterday.  I also found some garland for the cabin.  I am still working on our door decoration ideas.  Trying to decide about a door cover or big paper oraments with our names on them. 

Hey Cruzingal!!!!! Looking forward to this!I guess you may have heard about the hurricane Ida that came thru and is expecting to hit Moblie Tuesday morning at least this was as of 11-09-09. Anyway, I have been checking on all the excursions and we are thinking of going with our crowd of 9 to a beach club! We haven't got it all straightened out but we're trying! I don't know if you remember but we are the new ones going for my folks 50th wedding Anniversary! Hope to maybe meet you and your family!

Hey that is great I have a 20 year old son that may find some of you all in all our doings on the ship! We are getting really excited and plan to decorate our doors too! Yeehaw!

We are in Mississippi and got some wind/rain from Ida.  It wasn't bad here, but I think Mobile and Alabama in general got it much worse.  I see they delayed the sailing of the Fantasy until tomorrow.  She was supposed to leave today for 6 days.  Bummer for those on her first sailing out of Mobile.  They are having to give up a port of call.  We will have to set a place for some of us posters to meet up...I haven't sailed the Fantasy..so I don't have any ideas of where yet.  We are excited also....don't forget it costs $50 or $60 to park at the terminal.  We prefer to leave our cars there instead of across the street.  I am working on Fun Passes today for all of my crew.  Somehow, it makes the cruise seem closer.....lol. 

CRUZINGAL!!!!!! This is suez! I talked with you about going on Fantasy ship out of Mobile on the 24th with my folks and celebrating their 50th wedding Anniversary and this past week my mother collapsed on Sunday and then on Monday she was wrongly diagnosed with pneumonia, then on Wednesday, she reported she had 110 0z of fluid taken off of her lung then I drove to stay with her and we have been on one rollercoaster after another and finally on Friday we are told it is looking more like Lymphoma and then Saturday she had a biopsy and now we are waiting the results for what kind of Lymphoma and treatment and we are so confused as to what to do about the cruise! She is 72 yrs. old and I am her oldest daughter at 47 yrs. old and my sister and I do not know whether they will get the first treatment done in time to go! Please pray for Bonny!
