    Luggage

My wife and I fly into San Diego at 8:10 am the day of our departure.  How early can you check in your luggage?  Do they have a place where it can be stored?  I'm trying to avoid hulling it around with us, and thinking about visiting the Maritime Museum of San Diego before boarding.

Also, has anyone visited the Museum and is this feasible to do the morning of the departure.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Re: Luggage

What time does it say you board?

I don't know about dropping off the luggage but lots of others will.

http://www.sdmaritime.com/. The nuseum isn't that far from the ship either. Probably, at the most 15 minute walk and you have to be dwaddling to stretch it that long. You can also go to the port of san diego website for further information. Once in a while there is a coupon available for things at the port.

    Re: Luggage

The Disembarkation starts at 8:00am...it roughly takes 2 hours to debark the entire ship.  I've seen people check in as early as 10:00am - 10:30am..Lots of people traffic with loading the ship and people getting off..Drop your luggage off at the pier according to your deck name... I'm sure your taxi driver will wait while they take your luggage. Just be back by 2:00pm  last call for boarding is 2:30pm...Have a wonderful trip.
