Been using ginger pills for nearly 20 years (since my kids were babes) and they've always been our best friend on trips of all kinds.  In fact, our dog gets carsick pretty easy and the vet told us we could use them for her as well.  Worked perfectly.  My whole family swears by ginger pills.  No side-effects, no after-effects.  Easy-peasy!

TikiShopGirl: I cannot even tell you how on the right track you are!! I would tell passengers put something in your belly, pref ginger ale. Ginger is so good for settling a stomach. I'd tell them ginger ale and soda crackers. The salt works with the carbonation and voila! no more seasickness. Ditto on the dog. We give ours candied ginger :)

My mom used to give us Giner ale when we had tummy aches.  I've never gotten sea sick before, never even thought about it.  But I'm getting older and celebrating my 40th on board the Imagination so I am bringing something...just in case.

We just picked up some ginger pills and Bonine. We have never got sea sick before, but we are trying an aft cabin this cruise. We are also bringing along a couple of bags of ginger snaps. That should be a tasty way to get ginger into us each day. Another thought I have is to just hit the sushi bar each day. Hopefully they will supply ginger with the sushi and wasabe.
