So my husband and I are taking our 2 children ages 7 and soon to be 10 on there first cruise. I have a few questions about the camp carnival. First, the day we get on is there anything for them to do? Also what are the things they charge for in camp carnival? Is there a pool for the kids in camp carnival cause i was looking at the map of the ship and also when i was on it 1/5/09 i didnt see one, so I was wondering if i overlooked it. And life jackets do I have to bring one for them or does carnival have ones they can use for the pool? Thanks for all ur answers ahead of time. And yes everyone is right after you cruise once ur addicted! Already looking for cruise #3.

I have been watching the price since we booked got to love the early saver. We have an on board credit. I cant wait to book the next one....only 143 days cant wait to be away from work!

Just got back from my Inspiration cruise  yesterday. Price went down $80.00 72 hours prior to debarking, so we got the OBC but it was such a hassle. I had to call Carnival 4 times while I was on the ship, but eventually they did give us the credit. I guess my PVP fouled up somewhere, anyway all ended well and had a great cruise and looking forward to yet another great cruise on the Fantasy.

Got to love the OBC. We have one its not alot but every bit helps. I have been watching the price non-stop. I dont know if it will go down again but fingers crossed. We only have an interior room so nothing fancy but if the price goes down then so be it. I cant wait to have a GREAT, WONDEFUL, STRESS FREE week. Only 129 more days!

we too have a interior room, I choose to book "cheap", so I can go on vacation more often. The interior room I had on the Inspiration last week was a really nice room. I don't figure my price will go down anymore, but I keep checking. It's way up as of now.    Rita

 I am booked on this cruise now. I am going by myself in my cabin but have a group of about 19 of us tota. We are booked in 9 cabins right now. It's a mixture of family and friends and we are soooooo looking forward to it.

Just booked this cruise today. This will be our third sailing on the Fantasy and second out of Mobile. Started the countdown clock again. Just got off the Legend in September and was a great cruise but the dining room staff was poor at best. Hope to get the same service that we received on the Fantasy before. Love to cruise and my wife Pam will have one more to go to get VIP status after this cruise. Hope to see more people posting as the sail date gets nearer.

Welcome to the roll call. I also hope this board gets more active. I went out on the Inspiration Aug 29, 09 and we had great dining room service. We had George the Greek and he was a blast. I've never been on the Fantasy but I'm looking forward to it. I've never been on a "bad" cruise.

Welcome to Rollcall...Thats great ur almost VIP status. I cant wait for that cruise. We were on Fantasy in January and the service was great, now it was our first one so I couldnt compare it to anything but I thought they were OUTSTANDING! Our waitress Des was so much fun and did everything with a smile. She was on Lido deck one day and stopped to say hi as she was walking by. Only 90 more days to a stress free week....
