Just my luck! LOL well i will be watching it closely for my OBC, thats all i want, give me $20 ill be happy just as im getting something free! I need OBC for the DOD card, that way i wont feel guilty for spending our vaction money.

I have not heard back yet from the latest price adjustment....hoping we get it!  I would call them and ask the status of your claim and tell them how long it's been.  They told me 48-72 hours.  So I figure I should know something by Tuesday...was hoping sooner.

 Are there any other websites that i can monitor to see if they may have cheaper rates? I sent in for and adjustment, but im not ever sure if i qualify for what i sent in for! Maybe i will get lucky if not at least it will answer my question of what i should look at.

You can call them and ask them about the form that you sent in.

There are tons of them.  Just google cruises, however none of them will count.  Only the official Carnival site counts when looking for adjustments and if you booked through a TA they will have to process the forms or call for any price drops.

So after four days and several phonecalls I finally got my upgrade!!  We will have a window guarentee...not bad for $199 plus on board credit...I have to say I am proud of myself for watching the website!  Now I just have to wait to go...hurry up September!

I'm really dedicated to watching the prices...I check every day sometimes twice a day.  My TA laughs at me for it, but it has saved us money time and time again.  I would love to be a TA, but I need a steady income...maybe one day.

 Yea i constanly check to see if there is a price change, i get aggravated when the site says that there are no rooms available for my search criteria. Ha Ha and i have to wait till it comes back up.

I have also learned that you cannot be logged in when you check prices for a cruise that you are already booked for!

 I may be mistaken but I believe that Carnival has stopped giving refunds on price drops after you have made your final payment.Anyone know for sure?

Tigerllly we don't do excursions....we just get off the boat and walk.  I'm not big into excursions..waiting for Christmas when it's the whole family to do the submarine one.  I rather spend my money on stuff.

Alinflorida yes you can get OBC even after your final payment is made..I did on this trip and got two upgrades.  Now I am just waiting to see what cabin I am assigned to.  I booked this trip back in April not to long after we got back from another cruise.  I book way ahead and then wait to see if my price drops or not.  My April trip for next year has gone up $300....so I feel really good about that one!

We are 53 dates out and we already got our cabin assignment...we will be on the Empress deck for under $500....booking early for this trip really paid off.  Went from Inside on the Rivera to Empress outside...totally cool especially since we are celebrating our 3rd anniversary...our first one together!!

 Now we just have to wait to go....
