  My comments were directed toward professionals, not blue collars.  For any blue collars out there, this cruise ship is pretty cool.  For others, don't even waste your time reading the description which says it was refurbished in 2005.  It looks like a tacky Vegas casino from the 70's.  Bon Voyage Ken!  Have fun on your next CC.

 

Professionals?   Professional what... snob?   My boyfriend is self employeed... a gasp... car mechanic by day, musician by night and makes more than many professionals we know.  Who cares.

 

For as high faluten as you try to make yourself sound, why weren't you at least booked in a suite?   Oh, your credit card couldn't handle it?   I'm trying to stay civil, but you sound like a "wanna be" high society type not even close to the real deal.  $1200 in art work is chump change for art work.   I've spent over $400 for one item to be matted and framed before.   So what.  

 

A final note, obviously you have spent so much time trying to look down on others that you have never stopped to notice, uh.... the blue collars, well they make this country of ours happen.

Her comments are not even worth a reply really.Some people have forgotten that this country has blue collar roots that run very deep.And that without the blue collar workers,the white collar worker wouldn't have a job.

Okay, I am not a rude person, but I have to reply to this.  First of all, it sounds like to me that you rate yourself a being better than the ordinary individual.  Well guess what....you are not.  You put your pants on the same way everyone else does, (one leg at a time honey)......Secondly, most people read through and  or research things before doing such to see what is extra.  Sounds to me like you are the naive one, especailly if you spent more money on art than anything.  It was your money, free do to with it as you wish, but NEVER think you are better than anyone else, cause you are not. Sounds like you shoulda bought a calculator while you at it.

On a more serious note, to everyone, in order to avoid problems such as these it has always helped me to alert my credit card company that I'll be travelling, and where.  Also, using cash is another fail safe plan that we use.  I just jumped in and cannot assume why the original poster had these problems; but I know that in general foreign travel transactions could be questions if they aren't alerted prior to departure.

Okay, so this morning I got to work and asked my work compadre Felicia if she knew what three snaps and circle meant and she started cracking up (she knew), so we have just spent the last hour and half watching the Wayans Brothers on you tube.  The boss is on vacation and while the cats away...    we have been dying and laughing our buns off!

Wow!! Nice beat down ladies & gentlemen ..... all I can say is "Homey don't play that". (yep, more In Living Color references). Although 4vicci had such a terrible time, I am relatively sure her neighbors were extremely pleased she was out of the country. Kinda got their own vacation. I'm on the Inspiration 6/25. I am pleased to know folks like cruzingal will be there as well. Hopefully there will not be any 4vicci clones. If so , I'll be the guy giving them the same glare I give my puppy when he craps on the deck (and perhaps use my sarcasm to rub their nose in that bad attitude). I do not feel this has anything to do with status (ie; white/blue collar), it has to do with a dissatisfaction of self. Maybe sell the art & get some therapy (?). Hopefully she is not so fragile that the Valium is already empty.
