Hey, we're going on the 31st.  Looking forward to it.  We do most of our cruises in December or January.  It cuts the winter down just a little.  Not that we have winter in Texas.  The hill country does get cold once and awhile. 

Winter is bad verry very bad.  Most spend time in sun and sand.

Winter in Las Vegas is good, very very good. Summer bad.......

My wife's from Ohio, that's where I met her.  She is from Mt. Sterling.  I met here when I was stationed at Wright Paterson back in '71.  she was going to nursing school in Springfield.  I know about the winters there.

It is not bad... the pink.. It is not a bright pink, more like a subdued mauve!..

All of you who are sailing the splendor January 30, 2010 and are staying on the Queen Mary prior to the trip, I have decided on what I am making so that we can recognise eachother. 100 DAYS OUT!!!!   It is definately just me coming from Kansas.  However, I think that's a "good" thing!  Have my cabin taken care of, flight from ICT to DEN - DEN to LAX on the 30th.  I will probably stay at the Queen Mary, as well!  That's where I wish someone was going with me.  Not that the room is expensive, but sharing a room with someone would sure help out a little....Oh well!  Was thinking about something cheaper in Long Beach proper, but taking a cab or walking to the bus (public transportation) with luggage would "scream" TOURIST!!!  I would hate to get rolled! 

So looking forward to this vacation, as winters in Kansas can be a little harsh as well!  It will be nice to enjoy the "tropical" Mexican Riviera!!!

Hello again, everyone!  89 days!!!    I was wondering if anyone was doing the Prime Time Shuttle from LAX to the Queen Mary, or doing the Carnival Shuttle?  Prime Time is $16.00 (shared van) each way (LAX to Queen Mary / Carnival Cruise Terminal to LAX), where Carnival was $26.00 or $52.00 round trip.    Under 3 months!  Can't wait   ~  T
