Sailing away on the Carnival Splendor, January 31, 2010!! Anyone else going with us???

Anyone else doing this cruise?

We will wave to you as we get off the ship! We will be getting off the ship on Jan. 31st.  Sorry the crew will be so tired after all the excitment of our cruise they will be too pooped to serve you on yours!  ha ha ha

But it is looking like we will have the ship to ourselves.  But I'm sure we can figure out haw to keep the crew busy.

Still so far away....and so many other things happening ...but it will be here before we know it!

Hey!  You can count me in!  There were about 5 of us total that were thinking about it, but noone seemed to be getting it together.  I booked a room by myself.  This will be my 3rd cruise.  First was to Prog. and Coz.out of NOLA on the Fantasy with a friend (I paid and she was to pay me back .... not yet)

Cruise # 2 will be out of Mobile on Holiday with my folks (57th wed. anniv.) and bro. & sis-in-law (21st wed. anniv.)  Same itenerary but glad they will be along! Hope the weather cooperates and not too much rocking that I read about!  I want so much for their first cruise to be as enjoyable as mine was.   .... So the Splendor by myself might be just the break I could get into!

Cruise # 4 is being planned for Sept. 25 2010 out of Ft Laud. (8 day to Panama) returning to F.L. on Oct. 3, the day before my 51st birthday!  Going with another friend and we will be putting our deposits in later today after Music Theater.

So that was a rather long-winded "See you on-board the SPLENDOR"  Jan. 31st

Welcome Fun and Simple!!! We know how that is trying to get others to go! We have tried for years, and now just have to say this is when we're going, and let them book themselves. Plus once you go on Carnival, they give you past guest upgrades, and so we always end up way better than they would be!! Oh well!

Sounds like you have some great trips planned. That is awesome! It always amazes me how people plan so many in advance, though I don't know why not? Just keeps you excited for the next one!

We are flying in a day early and staying on the Queen Mary! My husbands father sailed on that ship to England when he went to WWII. So will be neat for him to see the vessel, even though it has been drastically changed!!

See you on board!! And I am sure we will be chatting and even more so as the time gets closer and we are more excited!!! :)

The excitement is growing here!  I have been looking at airfares to L.A. from Wichita.  It is cheaper to fly into Santa Anna by about $100.00 than to Long Beach but then there are the cab fares, etc.  I will probably just fly in the day of cruise to L.B. and take a shuttle.  Might not have any nails left from nerves about possibly missing ship though!  So maybe I will come in a day or two early and enjoy the city and get rested - sort of! 

I guess I have a little time to decide; however, I noticed there was a slight increase in air in todays paper.

Regardless.....Can't wait and haven't even gone on the August Holiday cruise yet!!!

You might want to consider flying into LAX because Carnival has a shuttle from LAX to the pier.

We're under 200 days finally and so excited! Will be so nice to relax and be with hubby for a week!

We will be there! Our first Cruise..first time out of the USA too for me. We are in the process of trying to get our friends to book since the price dropped!

We are flying in on the 28th and staying on the Queen Mary for 3 nights..SO I guess we will see you BEFORE the cruise too! Hmm I wonder just how haunted it really is....

Yes! It will be so fun to stay there! I doubt its haunted...or at least you have to be into that sort of thing to care, I guess! Which we are not! :)

Just can't wait to be on vacation! There's nothing like a cruise! It will be our 4th cruise. Can't wait.

So excited! We booked our airfare into LAX from Denver, paid for the Queen Mary hotel, scheduled and prepaid our shuttle from airport to hotel, and have 3 more payments left on the cruise!! Will be so great to be able to get away in winter!! WOOT! WOOT!
