 We are!  Hi, I just joined and was pleased to see the post for Valor 11/08/2009.  This will be my 7th cruise, 1st with Carnival.  I will be travelling from Toronto with my sister and neice.  Hope to meet some of you cruisers!

 Did someone say Singles Group!?!  I will be travelling on this cruise with my sister and niece - I hope to meet the singles at some point of the cruise!

Yup, there is a singles group on board this ship, as well as a group of Veterans so an interesting mix!

The singles group though has their own scheduled activities exclusive of Carnival

 Starting to get excited, been sitting home too long!

Hey, it's Carnival, so, alone "IS" unattached, not? LOL
I do have a traveling companion that I've not actually met yet, but I'm sure she and I will both be fun folks!

I am not booked with the Single Group, but was interested, but the friend that I am going with on this cruise is not interested in joining the singles group.  You mentioned that we might be able to join some of the events even if we are not part of the group? In the Singles Group is it mostly or all woman?

Also, I wanted to do some of the Excursions and she does not want to, she is looking to go to the beach and not get up early.  I guess I can book the Excursions for myself.

Well, if you're talking to "me" (as in buggystuff), yah, you can book the excursions by yourself, but I can't imagine there wouldn't be "someone" that would want to go with you on some things ?

Hey, everyone on here is out to have fun, it's not near the "single's bar pressure crowd", it's just way different

The singles group, from what I can surmise, will have a higher ratio of gals to guys, but their planned events are pretty much closed to the ones that booked through them. Understandable, since they went to the trouble and such.

But, it's the same ship, and if I say so myself, which of course I'm about to, we'll all be there "somewhere", except for Kathie, she'll be in Baltimore where it's probably going to be cold and raining

 Yeah I guess 'alone' is unattached and the same rules should apply as Vegas - what happens on the cruise stays on the cruise!!!  I look forward to meeting you and your new traveling companion!  Let's have a drink together!
