Have you guys checked out cruise critic or seauonboard.com?  Both are great sites!

Yes, but I have only just started looking on cruisecritic.com.  I read most of seauonboard.com.  I found the Capers especially interesting as you could see "kinda sorta" what goes on during the 7 day cruise.  (I say kinda sorta because we have a different itinerary.)

Have either of you guys figured out what you are going to do in San Juan?  I am leaning toward going to Old San Juan and doing a walking tour and eating some authentic food for lunch.  We wanted to do the Brewery Tour, but I have read (somewhere in here) that it is a waste of money.

I agree to that one!  Last time I left from the port of Miami there were 4 ships (2 of them carnival) When you go to Fort Lauderdale they have like 10-12 per day.

I am so excited for the cruise now that the cold weather is coming! I still don't know what to do in San Juan.

Well, I just finished paying off the cruise, so now I can start paying on other things.  So NOW to look at excursions.  Jimmyby, your idea to get together in San Juan sounds good. When I told Chuck that some of us have connected on this message board, he suggested that we all get together sometime during the cruise.

Only 4 more months to go.......that is WAY too long....  Sad  Can't wait.

Only 4 months!!!  This cruise needs to come faster.  Now that we are starting to see cold weather and snow...I need to be somewhere warm.  I agree with you Jeregirl...we need to meet up on the cruise ship for a drink.  It would be nice to finally put names to faces.

Bronson and I already have the dolphins at Blue Lagoon booked in Nassau and a Jetski/snorkel tour in St. Thomas. Getting together in San Juan sounds good too!

JereGirl: Are you in Miami for a few days before the cruise?

    Re: Roll Call - Glory - 02/14/2010

SNOW......you poor things.....I sure couldn't deal with that kind of weather, the worse we get is rain.........well, I take that back, a couple of years ago we got a kinda tornado thing go by with hail.  Chuck came home from somewhere and he said that the cats were hiding under the bed.  I was at work in another town about 25 miles away and missed it.

Can'twait, we are flying in to Miami on the 13th.  We are still looking for someplace to stay the night.  Can't get into the Holliday Inn by the port for only one night.  And it seems that we can't get Carnival to shuttle us from airport to hotel and from hotel to port unless we book the hotel through them and their cheapest hotel is up in Ft. Lauderdale.  So that is probably what we will do.  Sigh......

That's too bad about the hotel.  The holiday inn POM is a great spot...lots of great shopping at the bayside market. Bronson and myself decided to head to Miami for the thursday. We need some extra time in the warm weather. Btw...call me Heather.  I look forward to meeting you both on the cruise. It seems so close.  I remember when Jim and I had 200 days and were excited...now we are coming close to 100 days!  Yippeeee!!!!
