The cruises I have been on there was a comedian. One show for general audience and then a mid-night adults only show. Happy Sailing!

    Re: Comedy shows

The last cruise I took,(5 day) there were 2 comedy shows, and 2 adult comedy shows. The first R rated was at midnight, but the second one was at 10:00 pm. It was held in one of the lounges so no kids could attend. Loved it!

    Re: Comedy shows

I second what Lainy posted.  We had two comedians on our November 7-day cruise on Glory.  Perhaps there is only 1 comedian on shorter cruises--like the 4-day ones.  Usually the comedian will perform two shows--a family-safe one and an R-rated version for adults only.

I would like more comedy shows. Me and the wife are tired (drunk) by 12. And the 10 o-clock show is to rated G for us

I have to tell you that the last 10:00 pm Adult show I saw was most definitely not G-Rated. LOL

Ecstasy has Brad Tassel, a very funny Robin Williams type. He did one G-rated show in the main lounge for families and a latenight R-rated show that was really great. There was also a ventriloquist.

    Re: Comedy shows

We must have lucked out on our last cruise - we hit it at "crew change" and most of the comedians, dancers, etc. shipped out in Grand Cayman and a new crew came on.  So we had 2 comedians the first couple of nights and then 2 different ones the rest of the cruise!

We loved the comedians. Not for all tastes though, but for us, it was great, especially the racier midnight shows.

    Re: Comedy shows

On the Triumph, the stand-up comedian was the Cruise Director, Jorge.

He wasn't very good, and his "act" was centered on embarrassing and humiliating passengers in the audience.   Not fun at all if you were his unfortunate victim.

Jorge just didn't know what was really funny, and misinterprets nervous laughter for people actually thinking he was good.  He wasn't.

I cruised on the Fascination last month and there were 2 comedians.  Tony Esposito who was actually quite funny; definitely adult material.  The other one was Mike Panzeca whom we did not see becasue it conflicted with another event we had planned.
