Like you... we are counting the days till the cruise......the not having to make the bed....wonder what am I cooking for dinner......not being at work.......all that a monkeyhead drink too..... oh the joy

We will be on the Glory, Sept. 12, 2009 for our annual anniversaey cruise.  It's our 39th. anniversary the 12th.  We have been on 6 other Carnival ships and have always had a great time.  So looking forward to getting away.

Welcome to all newcomers to this forum for our cruise.  Basketlady, it looks like we have several anniversaries - there are two other couples on another board besides yours and ours.  We celebrate our 47th on Sept. 15, and one of the others is also on the 15th.  I don't remember the other dates but we also have several birthdays during our week so it should be a week of celebration.  Of course, just being on the cruise is a celebration!!  We can't wait!!

Hey Priscilla and Mal.  Can't wait to meet you onboard.  Jada and I are driving everyone crazy at work counting the days. lol

Here's a peek at the port load.....number of ships and passengers when we are in a port....

Nassau: 3 ships, 9,098 passengers. Might want to think carefully about excursions!

St Thomas: 2 ships, 7,400 passengers

St Maarten: Just us, 3,700 passengers, 

My aunt/gh (she's both) and her new husband will be celebrating thier first anniversary on Sep. 12.  This will be her first Carnival cruise and his first cruise period.  We will be joining them just cause... Can"t wait....

floridascorpio I am trying to determine how you came up with 3,700 passengers if only our boat is in port for St. Maarten??  Our ship capacity is only supposed to be 2,974.

Well less than two months and we will all be in our "water" beds lol

K.....just going by what I read....on www.beyondships.com they say the Glory when totally full....every bunk, the capacity is 3,710.

On www.cruisett.com/ports/php , that is the number they list.

Can't wait.....did you say before...you were on the Empress Deck....thats where we are...up front on the starboard side. Be sure to try the beyondships link for a great tour and everything about the glory.

I am also going on this cruise.  Counting down.  I need this time to myself.  Retired from a very stressful then decided to leave while I could still travel, etc.  I then became a "babysitter" to my two Grandsons.  They are now 14.  And seasoned travelers (not going on this cruise-starting HighSchool on the 9th)

There is another board that I post to quite a bit more than I post here.  But decided to check this out.  (Other board is CruiseCritic).  We are going to have a Meet n'Greet on the Lido Deck aft after the Drill, during Sailaway.  Come join us.

floridascorpio we are Empress port side mid ship. This is the same room I booked two years ago.  I really like this ship and I went to your website thanks.  Actually I have been all over this ship but I still managed to miss the seafood place above the Redsail but I won't this time.
