Anyone with us on Nov 14 2009

Hello Ship Mate....Chicago will be on the Glory on November 14th......So far there will be about 40 of us....

 Hi there. My family and friends will be on the boat.About 10 of us. Anyone have any children?We have a 3,7 , and 14, and 15 y.o coming with.Who will not be running the ship like a pack of ferral children.So don't worry.But we would like to know if there will be any kids close in age. I know there is usuallly not alot of kids during this time.Which is kinda why we choose this date.Mine are pretty laid back and not as rambunctious as a lot of kids i see these days. We are also getting married in costa maya. We may have room for more people at the resort if any one is looking for a fun time.Take care all.

Congrats on getting married is Costa Maya...I'm sure that is going to be a wonderful day.  As for children on the cruise...I will check to see if any are going to be with the group I am with.  I heard someone saying there were going to try to get her daughters out of school to go...they are 9 and 13...but I will have to get back to you about that.

 Hi there, That would be nice to know if there will be some girls on board. I talked to the principal already.They are going to write a paper about each place they visit, and the things they do.He said that as that would be a once in a life time (little does he know) event that it would be considered a educational trip. They will do some homework every day. (mornings, keep them busy) and plus holdiay is right when we get back too. I would just let the school know way in advance. THey tend to work with you more that way.Take care

We'll be with you too! So so excited, our first cruise. Can't stop thinking or talking about it daily. Is that normal??? LOL

Doing research on excursions, to do's, and such. Can't wait to be pampered. Looking forwarding to meeting new couples and experiencing the joys of cruising. I need to find someone out there who is just as excited as I am!

 I think i am. I am so invested in doing pre-cruise research. I think i spend to much time on it! I am making booklets to send out to my guests with tips,tricks and secrets as well as little maps shaped like the ship with each level on a diff. page. (is it obvious i am obsessed yet?) I keep thinking there has to be a way to parlay this into a job.Cruise critic anyone?

I dont know what i will do with myself after the trip. I guess plan the next one!>

Has anyone noticed how few people are on the board for this trip? As well as the one on cruise critic dot com. Is this normal for the week before holiday? 

My son is going to be 10 by the time we sail.  I am also going to let the school know when we go meet the teacher. We also have a vacation the following week (Thanksgiving). I will not have him do homework on the cruise. I have told him he can work extra hard the week before, then have nothing to worry about.  He is a straight A student so I dont anticipate any problems.

Me, my sister and my son is sailing that day. We are going on this cruise to celebrate her birthday. I have already arranged for our cabin to be decorated and a cake in the dining room. Any other suggestions?

 Wow straight A's how proud you must be! I know when my girls made honors for the first time how excited we were to.They are going to be doing a presentation when they get back, so our "homework" will be taking photos and videos and journaling.And for some reason they actually like to write as a hobby.
