Mad as Hell, NO MORE PAST GUEST PINS

What the hell. Just got back from cruise, cabin boy says Carnival not giving out past guest pins? 12 cruises and they cutback on pins. Was really pissed, went to guest services and canceled all tips, guess I will do some cut backs too!!! I feel better now.

Why cut back the tips? The crew didn't do it,Carnival did,you punished the wrong people! Thats the problem with knee jerk reactions,they seldom solve the problem and effect people who did nothing wrong.

Carnival doing cutbacks, so am I. I punished no one, about time they pay their employee , not me anymore. No fruit punch either!! Whats next no bacon??

All this over a pin? Wow, am I missing something here? Can't you just buy some little something to remind you about this cruise? What exactly is the big deal about these past guest pins? What do they look like?

Whale tail with ships name on it. They used to have name and date. I am just tired of all the cutbacks, Hell I would buy the damn pin if they need the money. Guess no more tipping by me!!!!

Did guest services say that Carnival wasnt going to give out the pins? Maybe it was just the way that the cabin stewart said it.

Cabin said no more pins. Carnival cutbacks, so I will cut back by not tipping!!!!

As much as I enjoy getting our pins, I have a collection of them, it will not affect our tipping. I am not sure it is true. You can't trust everyone on this forum. We got them in December. If it is true, I'll be darned if I will take it out on the cabin stewards. What do they have to do with anything? You are shooting the messenger.
