    As you may or may not have read but we are planning a Meet & Greet on our ext aft balcony & our wrap around balcony. We are planning to do this the 1st nite since the 2nd nite is our sons birthday. If you two are wine drinkers we are asking that you bring a bottle of your favorite wine that you would like to share with others at the meet & greet.DW and I will be posting the exact time and date but looks like 1st at around 9 pm if that is OK with all??

 I was just wondering, does anyone know if there are usually any singles in our age group on these cruises?  We are 27-30 years old.

 Would be good to meet some people to party with into the small hours.

Welcome Nina & Alex - We have a about 6 of us in our group  - me & my partner Sheri - my mom - , Our two aunts and a single friend.  There are always plenty of singles on cruises & plenty of places to party into the night - If this is your first cruise don't forget to read your daily itinerary sheet they put in your cabin each night.. It will tell you where & when everything is happening. There is also different little "Meet & Mingles" for different groups like Singles - Friends of Bill - Friends of Dorothy- etc..-  I am sure you will find them..  Also check out the CrusieCritic.com boards -  Again.. Good to hear your all joining us! This is my hubby and I's first cruise as well. Can't wait to meet all of you, and I'm sure we will bump into eachother in the late nights because we are night owls especially on the at sea nights.

 What's the best way to purchase alcohol on this cruise?  Some kind of pre-paid drink card or as you go?

Any drinks you order they add on to your sign and sail card..Plus tip per drink.

I am however, bringing my alloted wine 1 bottle per person..  Which wont get me much for 7 days but at least I will have something to celebrate with in our cabin.

You can order drink tickets from bon voyage(now) to be sent to your room before you aboard..but i think they give those to you on your first dinning night..I'm not sure on if the drink tickets are feasable or not as I never ordered them before..

I hear also that you can buy liquor from the Duty Free shop onboard but you will not be able to get it back until your last night of the cruise..So, thats a bummer..  Unless your taking it home!

Hello and Welcome! Glad to hear or see there is more people out there sailing along.

I'm starting to get antsy and excited as the days pass. I still have not packed yet, but I think this weekend we'll pull out the suitcases and start throwing things in that direction.

You should not be scared..what are you scared about?? is this your first time cruising?

I tend to get a bit anxious when I'm doing something for the first time, and that was probably true for my first cruise.  However, you will have such a good time, and hopefully get hooked as so many of us have with cruising.  My husband and I have met some wonderful people on cruises.  Have a wonderful time!
