Yeah... I call it the wood splitting torture workout!   LOL 

Hi all, me being an older guy not real interested in working out! Not Over weight, not Muscular, a lttle out of shape! lol things just sort of shifted! Had to coment after the Pole Dancing for exercise! Our waiter from the destiny last year could probably have made more money dancing than waitin tables! The women loved him to death! Including my wife!  He was very entertaining! An excellant waiter to boot! I can't remember his name, couldn't pronounce or spell it! He told us to call him "Bobby" He did pole dance several nights lol!  His pic is my profile pic! For this post won't be there long! I get plenty of exercise on the cruise going to and from 1 end of ship to the other! Not always looking for food! Happy Cruising All!

Yep.  We work hard to play hard.     A couple of pictures of me with my "friend" the wood splitter and a mere fraction of the wood split last summer.  Fortunately we have quite a few "free" resources for wood.  Just means a bit of work.   We cleared a neighbors lot last summer and still have another half  a lot to clear for the same person.

Thanks.  There are times I literally have to crawl up the basement steps when I am done splitting for the day, but realistically, I love the work!   Bill and I are usually outside working as a "team" and we both like being productive.   What a radical change from my former life!

Bill and I try to encourage the other to work out... but...   ultimately our workout is hauling, splitting, stacking wood so we will be warm in the winter.  We use minimal amounts of fuel oil... and doing a bit of work and saving a ton of $$$$ in heating costs enables us to cruise.

YAAAYYYYYY Lizz~ Gimmie those tones arms!!! Awww man reminds me of our camping trips during the summer and going to Big Bear in the winter!!! This is a good work out!!! Believe it or not the fire place does burn out here in LA! LOL

Hey MillyJ.The good thing about eating so much on a cruise....you will be so busy at night dancing,and "whatever" you burn off all of the calories.Honestly,when you get off the ship at ports,you walk alot,so whatever weight you do gain,is burned off quite quickly.A little bit of advice,as soon as you get up,make sure you load up on fresh fruit,it puts back all of the vitamins you lost the night before.It always helps me recover from partying like a rock star.

Hey SM!! yes that is a good idea! I also take in a little green tea while onboard and keep water to flush out the system...because after all the food it does start to weigh you down and you gotta keep in flowing thru the tummy!! But YES, we definately dance the night away to burn it off....I'm still working out and working towards my healthy goal...but I am proud of myself...too many people are diagnosed with diabetes and heart disease...i've seen the sad stories too much...I ran track for 11 yrs hence the calves & thunder thighs on my youth pic! LOL  But all in all its good to get a little exercise in while crusing and Simple Man put has put into a fun perspective! YAY!

Milly ~ in my other response I was going to say, as others have... you have got some killer legs!   Reminds me of the first time I saw Tina Turner perform and I was like... "Geez.  Gimmee those calves!"    The comment about my arms... I used to have some killer arms without even having to do anything.   Bill will occasionally tease me and say "What happened to that girl I knew with the really buff arms..."   Easy answer... AGE!

By the way, I don't remember the thread but the one that you posted a couple of pictures of you and your little one... beautiful photos Milly.
