Is the room key and sail sign card one in the same? 

Yes it is.

YEP AND DOUBLE YEP! I like that card. and i heard they change the look of it everytime you sail with them. i think that is cool. great collectors item too.

The first time you cruise, you get a blue card. Then you get a gold one until your fifth cruise, and a platunum one after that i think...

No, Just returned from 5 day on the Holiday April 30th. S&S seperate from your room key for security reasons.

Since your just sailed on he Holiday do you remember if the Miller Lite beer is still served in plastic bottles?

Don't know about the beer but the room key is the little rectangular plastic piece  with the odd arrangement of holes at one end.  The  plastic card, blue and red for 1st time cruisers and gold for past guests is the one that gets you on and off the ship and is used for all charges onboard.    

Due to the age of the ship, it sounds like Carnival has not bothered to change the type of locks on the cabins.  Makes sense...

She may be sporting some age, but she certainly is a Grand Old Lady and we totally enjoyed our 5 days on her!!!

Age didn't stop me from booking her.  Newer and bigger aren't the most important things in my book.

Room key and S&S card are separate on the Holiday.
