    stephanie:

Soda on the ship is $2.25 per can. Or like $1.75 per glass. If you love soda it would be wise to buy the small bottles because I don't think they allow cans.

     Cans are allowed.

    A twelve pack seems reasonable

We always bring at least 12 pack of cans on a cruise along with water.

keeping in mind that wherever you dock they will have soda to buy it just will be more expensive.

If you go to a grocery or drug store it is no more expensive then home and sometimes cheaper.  The soda at the terminals is expensive.

We always bring at least 12 pack of cans on a cruise along with water.

But you don't want to weigh your luggage down with soda.

We usually bring a seperate suitcase for our soda water and allowed wine in our checked luggage and then we have a suitcase for bringing home souveniers and booze etc.

It's amazing I thought I was a coke-aholic but when I saw the price I switched quickly to lemonade, which is free.

Yes the lemonade is free but the soda is no more expensive then at a restaurant or club at home.  We bring our because we prefer Pepsi products over coke.

Are we allowed to bring juice boxes on the ship and off to the ports or is juice free? I would like to bring some boxes for my youngest son who refuses to drink anything but juice. Which is a good habit actaully

    YES!

    or is juice free?

Only at breakfast or with a soda card.

Yes it is as long as it is sugar free.

just to update people,  not unless they have added it back , the fruit punch is gone.  the juice on lido deck is there in the mornings,  from lunch on you have a choice of ice tea or lemonade and water. and coffee

and the roy rogers and shirley temples are for children... not the adult fountain cards... but if you travel with kids, it is great.

    Hi Jpicano,

You can bring juice boxes, bottled water, and soda onboard. You can also bring prepackaged snacks and a small cooler. Fill it with some ice, drinks, and snacks to take into port. Food can be expensive in the ports and this is a great way to save some money. Especially if you are going to a beach.

Onboard the ship they serve orange juice, passion-guava juice, milk, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and filtered water for breakfast. At lunch and beyond they have lemonade in the place of the juice at the drink stations.

Cans are allowed.  I think people are really stretching the definition of "reasonable".  At the rate people are going it won't be long before Carnival bans it all.  My neighbor returned last night from a cruise...they couldn't give the porters at the pier their soft sided cooler filled with water and soda.  They had to place it in their luggage, not much room.  They kept a 12 pack of soda and two six packs of water, gave the rest to the porters.  I asked how much they had?  Response:  "more than that"  LOL!!!

I do have children and they will love the kiddie drinks. I did see that fruit punch is free on the ship. If it is not then why is it posted as free? Tekel was correct in her information. I went to the page and it was listed. Lemonaide is fine too. my children love that. Ive read some of these posts and many have said that juice is included as free but only certain juices. Ok with me

Possibly because they only allow coolers that are 12X12X12.  We have taken soda and water and our 2 bottles of wine in our checked bags with no problem.  You can always bring an extra suitcast for it and then you will have room for the stuff you buy coming home like liquor.  You can also replenish water and soda in the ports.
