Someone sounds excited.  Wait, you are in Zombieland?  Does that mean we can be one of the first to get your autograph?  lol.  Congrats on the wedding.

LMAO... Sure. Especially after I win the academy award for playing the best "Zombie Digging Through The Trash." /snickers... But yeah, shortly after they turn the lights on at the amusement park there's a scene with 4 zombies digging thru some garbage, seeing the park light up and running toward it... Im the one in the purple sweater. My 5.6 seconds of fame, lol. Well, no small parts afterall... Right? ;-P

There are no small parts in show business. That is what we are telling our daughter as she begins her second play for the Performing Arts Society where we live.

11 days left until we are sailing on a big, blue watery road.  As I mentioned before, the ship has been sailing around 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. which means muster will be sometime before that. I think it was around 3:30 the last time around.  So, if you guys want to meet at 3:00 p.m., that would be fine.

Hey everybody, Steven here. My girlfriend Bobbi and I are booked for this cruise (both of us are first-timers) and we are SO excited about it - I just know I'm going to be useless at work all next week waiting to leave for New Orleans. It'd be great to meet everyone. Congrats on the part in Zombieland, Ashley. Oh, and Bobbi played D&D a long time back - you guys should show me how to play.

Can't wait to see everyone on board! 9 more days!

We set sail a week from tomorrow. It's so close now I can feel it. We're gonna be pulling into New Orleans (driving in from Memphis, TN) between 5 and 6pm next week. We plan to spend Thursday and Friday taking in the city and enjoying it. Me and hubby will be cruising with our kids but we are part of a huge group. A bunch of our family is going too.... we have a total of 12 rooms and almost 40 people.

My name is Tiffanni and my hubby is Marvin. We'll be celebrating my husband's birthday onboard, gonna have a bash. I hope I get to meet all of you... hopefully we can party together and have some fun. I CAN'T WAIT hehehehe.

Tiff, hope you and your husband have a wonderful time enjoying the city.  If you have time, you should try and catch the Gumbo Shop.  It is one of our favorite restaurants to frequent.  How old are your kids?  We too will be traveling with your kids, two girls, 10 & 4.  They are so excited to be going back on a cruise and to Camp Carnival. Seriously, I am just happy to be on vacation, but they really are getting excited about being in Camp Carnival.

The ship sailed out of port yesterday at 4:30 p.m. which seems to be the going trend for it.  My office is on the 22nd floor of one of the high rise buildings in the city and I have a wonderful view of the Fantasy from our floor.  Muster is usually 30 minutes before the ship sails, I believe so I would say it would be around 3:30 or 4:00 p.m.  In fact, last week, I was driving across the bridge at 4:00 p.m. and saw everyone on the outside deck with life vests on at that time.  I know it varies, but it should give a good idea of when we can plan a meet and greet.  Any suggestions?

My thought is to meet around 3:00 pm. or immediately after Muster (after returning life vests of course).  I had previously suggested the 21st Century Bar on the Promenade deck which is right next to the casino.  Let me know if this works and we'll plan ourselves accordingly.

Roy & Carmen - Thanks so much. We have 5 children, 4 girls and 1 boy. Our son turns 15 on the day we set sail and our girls are 17, 13, 12 and 9 months. They are so excited they can't concentrate on anything else. Me, I'm ready to pack already lol.

Thanks for the tip on the Gumbo Shop, we're gonna plan to eat there and Acme Oyster while we're in the city. Any other suggestions you may have are very much appreciated. On Friday we're taking our kids to the Aquarium of the America's and to the Insectarium, I've heard it's a must see.

The 21st Century bar shortly after muster works perfect for us. Shall we go ahead and make plans?

Re: Roll Call- October 17, 2009 on Fantasy

Tiff, there are soo many places to go and have a wonderful local meal while in the city.  A couple of my favorites are the Gumbo Shop, Pontalba Cafe, Clover Grill, Port of Call, Gordon Birsch and Johnny's Po-Boys.  Oh, the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen as well.  It really depends on what you want to spend on meals because some can be pricey.  The clover grill is on Bourbon Street in the "rainbow" section and is an open grill style cafe that makes awesome hamburgers. Not a lot of seating, though.  Johnny's is only open for breakfast and lunch, but closes around 4 or 5 in the afternoon.  My wife and I have this running list in our head of places we want to go and eat, but never remember what or where they are until it's too late.

The Aquarium is a must see and unfortunately, I am not that impressed with the insectarium.  My kids love it, I just think it is a bit over priced as far as admissions go. The Audubon Zoo is also a wonderful attraction and is definitely worth the cost of admission.  It is one of the best zoos around the country and probably the world for that matter.

I am thinking after muster would be the best time, since we are not sure what time it will actually be and it will give people who want to meet time to get to their cabins, etc.  Since we have little ones, they will be with us at that time, but there are lounge chairs they can hang around while we meet and hang out.

Roy, thanks for the heads up on the Insectarium. We're gonna take heed and do the Aquarium & Zoo combo instead. I know we'll have a great time in N.O. and I just can't wait to eat some good N.O. cooking. Mmmmm!

After we return our lifevests, right after the muster drill, we'll head to 21st Centuy to meet up. We're looking forward to meeting you guys and everybody else who's planning on joining us. Just think... this same exact time next week we'll be hanging out and having some much needed FUN!

    Tiff Party!!!
