    Hello

We are going to be taking our first cruise on october 17th. we are so excited and cant wait to go. Still not sure what we should plan on for our excursions. Thinking about the snuba or horse back riding, but would love to see the Myan Ruins also. Has anyone been to the Myan Ruins, and is it worth the time it takes to get there and back? Any advise would be appreciated because neither of us have any clue what we are getting into. lol Would also like to meet other married couples to hang out with if possible.

     Hi everybody,

Just checking in, 45 days to go. Has anyone decided on any excursions. Not sure which one to do. Thinking about either "Discover the Yucatan and the Myan World" or Dzibilchaltun. It seems that with either one of these, will still have time to walk around town and shop. Has anyone done either before.

There must not be to many people on this cruise the roll call does not have that many on it.  We do not have long to go who's going.

Nice upgrade, melinda! We booked an oceanview guarantee, so don't imagine we will get a visit from the upgrade fairy- but I am sure we will be happy with whatever room we get! It's getting so close- 5 weeks till we sail- I can hardly wait. I have pretty well decided on seeing the Uxmal ruins while in Progresso- don't know if I should wait till I am on the ship to book it though. Any advice? Also does anyone want to do a meet and greet on the ship?

We'll be joining everyone on the Oct. 17th cruise with our two girls. This will be our 4th time on the Fantasy and are counting down the days. We will probably not book an excursion in Progresso and settle for a little window shopping. We booked a beach break at Nachi Cocum while in Cozumel. We went to Nachi Cocum while on our last cruise in April and totally enjoyed it. It has all you can drink (including adult beverages) and food. Hope to see everyone on the cruise.

Yay, more louisianians! We're leaning toward Nachi Cocum as well, though it'll really depend on our finances. We're definitely going to do Chichen Itza, it was the determining factor in choosing this cruise, but everything else "non-inclusive" we will have to wait and see. Even though were only having a small wedding, it's still cost us more than we initially anticipated. It's hard when your two families are 550 miles apart! I know we'll get caught up in time and that we'll look back once the credit cards are paid off again and say it was all worth it! :-)

Nachi Cocum is great. It's not that expensive, $49.00 a person and although their site says 3 course meal, you can pretty much get whatever you want on the menu, as many times. We had a wonderful time in April when we went. Nachi Cocum is all inclusive. We kept the spirits flowing on our last trip. Pay off a credit card? what's that? lol. 34 days left. It's getting close.

Ok people. 27 days left. Where is everyone? Starting to wonder if we will be the only ones on the cruise. What is everyone doing for their port calls. Is anyone planning on dressing up for Formal Night now that the Captain's Party has been done away with?

I can hardly contain my excitement! I took off the day before we fly to New Orleans because I just knew I would be useless at work! LOL!  Is it too soon to pack my suitcase?! We will still be attending the Formal Night because we bought new clothes for it! Also, it just seems to be part of the cruise experience. Still going to visit the Mayan ruins at one or both of the ports of call. Will probably wait to book it on the ship. Anyone want to do a meet and greet on the ship? See everyone soon!

Ok, now I feel like I am not prepared for the cruise at all. I thought printing out our Funpass and documents was way too soon. But not, Joanh, you are ready to pack. I feel so ashamed now. lol. The port is only 10 minutes away and I cross the bridge over the river where the ship docks so every time she is in port, I get depressed because I am not one of the many who will be boarding her. Meet and greet sounds good. Let's plan something as it gets closer.

I am so excited, that it is almost time to cruise. As this is my first cruise I get more excited each day. Meet and greet sounds great to me. I am planning to go to one of the ruins, not sure which one. Will decide after I board. See everyone soon.
