Hi Earl I have been on it but not recently. We took it for our 40th wedding anniversary and it was good then. It is a large ship and you should have a great cruise.

Hi Joan My wife and I are coming on this cruise with about 63 others and calling it Forest Hill Fifties Reunion Cruise. The class members graduated in 1977 were all turning 50 an 51. We are counting down the day's till we leave. Can't wait to meet all the others on the cruise.

My husband and I will be on this cruise with a group of 40. It's been awhile since we've been on Carnival. We have mostly been cruising with Princess and almost always sail out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. How long will it take this ship to get out into the ocean? I am interested in knowing when the casino will be open as well!

You would think we could start gambling as soon as we're on the ship. It will be over water just like the casino's in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

We can't gamble until we are out of the river. Knowing La. history, the appropriate people probably did not receive the correct incentive. (Just kidding...sort of.)

Our group had a little get together. And most of of can't wait to get started.Forst Hill High School Class of 1977 Fififties Reunion Cruise. Some of us charted a bus so we can get started early, others are coming in their car.

I even tried drinking a Hurricane in the quarter thinking it would taste similar to the Funship drink in hopes it would decrease my craving for a DOD on the Lido. It didn't....but after the third one, I didn't care. Passed the time.

I can almost taste the Funship drink and hear the music on the Lido. Waiting has never been one of my strong points. I do get to start the cruise off with a bang. We're attending a Mardi Gras ball the Saturday before the cruise and we've decided to stay in N.O. until the cruise on Tuesday, but I will not be happy until the life boat drill is over...until then, we must wait.

And the clock goes Tic....toc.......tic.........toc...........tic...............toc....................tic.
