 We have a group of 14 going on this cruise.. we are very excited!

My wife and I will be on the ship.  We're can't wait to get on the Triumph and relax a little.  This will be our 11th Carnival Cruise, but the first on this class ship.  We''re a little concerned it will be similar to the Conquest which was a floating city.  Don't get me wrong, we have never failed to enjoy a cruise.  As long as they keep the Funship drink full, all will be well.

My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary, so this one is a little special.

I hope you enjoy the trip. 

Hi Trish:  I will not be going unitl April 2010, but I want to keep sight of this group, because I want to read your reviews from a "southern sailing" perspective.  I am excited for you all.  My last cruise was with 13-15 passengers, and we had a ball!  We were scattered all over the place but at dinner time we all met and enjoyed each other's company.

Booked this one solo, no one wanted to cough up the money to go. Hope I have a great time. Any other solo travelers on board Nov. 10th.

Just booked this cruise with a friend of mine today.  She hasn't cruised in 15+ years so she is very pumped.  I am excited to as it is the first trip in awhile with the hubby and son!  Yeah!  So, girls week for us!  We will be "thelma & louis "ing" it from St. Louis MO to New Orleans the day before.  Parking at the port and jumping right on the ship on the 10th.  See you all there!

My soon to be wife and I will be taking this cruise for our honeymoon and it will be our first cruise ever.  I'm sure it's gonna be great and I'm sure we'll be doing more of these in the future.  Besides the upcoming wedding and moving, this is all I'm thinking about these days.

And from what I hear, this will be Triumph's first cruise out of it new home port of New Orleans...that's pretty neat.

What exactly are you talking about? 

They usually have a show/contest where a newlywed couple, a couple who has been married about 10 or so years, and a couple that has been married (like myself) forever answer questions about their spouse.  It's like the newlywed game that once was on TV (you may not be old enough to remember...lucky you).

Spend the effort to watch this.  The first time you see it, it's hilarious.

I've seen the video on youtube and it is funny.  The problem is my finance' may not like being put on the spot like that.  So I can't commit to anything now.

Your future wife is not unlike mine.   If I made her get on the stage and do something like this, I would be in the penalty box around the house for months to come, but I think it would be fun. Funny thing is, We've been married 25 years and we still learn things about each other every day. 

She told me she would do it if we weren't sailing from New Orleans.  We never fail to run into people we know on the ship.

Well, I hope the wedding goes well and the cruise is everything you expected.  Congratulations and may you still be cruising for your 25th anniversary like we are.

My husband and I are counting down the days until we set sail.  This is our 4th cruise and our first time with a balcony.  We are so pumped! 

I just booked last week. I'm traveling solo. My BF has never cruised & he's not going to try it this time. Oh well, this is #5 for me and my 2nd solo.

Well, it looks like the ship is finally filling up.  I can't wait to hear the big whistle blow and feel the ship start to move down the Mississippi River.  Too bad it takes so long to get out the river...cuts down on the gambling time.  I need my DOD fix BAD!

We should all meet at the casino bar and have a drink to get us in the appropriate mood to cruise.  I must have enough alcohol in me to survive the life boat drill.
