We're here and checking in time to time. Went out this afternoon and bought new snorkel gear. SeaAngel is already thinking about it 24/7. She thinks she needs a break. She say's can't wait to put her toes in the water, her butt in the sand with a drink in her hand !!!!!!!

We were on vacation in Naples, Fl and just got back.  I am still checking this date & it appears the price is still higher than my Early Savers so no OBC for me YET.  Getting closer but not close enough to think about it 24/7 yet.

Thanks SeaJewel!  We were sitting on the beach in Naples, Fl waiting for the sunset in that pic. 

I see that the rates keep going up, I was hoping that they would go down to take advantage of the lower rate and get an OBC to our sign & sail card.  Now such luck.

WoooHoooo!!!!!   We are now in the eighty"s ............89 more days  Wanna sit in that hot tub under the stars with that frozen drink in my hand. Maybe a beer, whatever it will be... but it WONT be empty!!!!!!!

It's getting closer & we are starting to get excited!  On our last cruise on the Carnival Liberty, we had a balcony but this trip we booked a cheaper inside room on Riviera.  We are in R29 which is a porthole and considered the same cat as an inside.  We have been inside, OV and balcony so this will be the first porthole.  Should be an experience.  Since we booked the Early Saver, we are doubtful about getting any OBC but I am still checking.  I really don't want an upgrade if that means an inside instead of the porthole.  Also we are in the front of the ship this time and have always been mid-ship.  I don't tend toward seasickness so we'll give it a go.

We are taking this trip for our 20th anniversary & should be spending the big bucks but we have 2 new grandkids coming...one in Nov and one in Dec.  They live in the northeast so saving our money for the Holidays up there.  This will be a "bare bottoms" so to speak cruise but sometimes fun isn't measured by money spent.

On our last cruise we had $700 OBC to spend so we went wild.

Hubby doesn't know I ordered decorations for the cabin for our anniversary.

I am very excited!

Next year we go on the Dream 11/06!  Isn't a cruise the greatest vacation ever????

cruises are the best!  We are going to try the inside cabin this time..... Hopefully  things will work out since we're not in there too long.  I just hope my daughter is ok during this trip,  She has never been on a cruise before.  She's been on ships before, and never got sick, but not for this long.  we'll see......  we got our docs....  Even more excited now, (if thats possible)!!!!!!! 69 more days for us anyway....  Cant wait talk later.. Oh yea,  maybe I should let Carnival know in advance to stock up on the lobster!!!!!  YUMMY !!!!!!

Sandy, When you contact Carnival about the lobster, tell them to double it, because it's my favorite too!!!

I'm getting a little apprehensive about traveling without my husband and sons, but at the same time I am looking forward to my "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" cruise.

I'm sure your daughter will do just fine, you are right about not spending much time in the cabin.  We too booked an inside cabin on the Empress Deck.  What deck are you on?

Sandy, we are on Riviera also...R29 which has portholes.  We have never been in a forward cabin or a porthole.  We were on Riviera mid-ship once before and no problems at all.

If there are any portholes left, you can switch to one.  It is a 4a.  We have had one suite on a RC, a balcony on Carnival and an OV on Carnival. 

I am sure we will all be fine and have a blast!  69 days left!  We are ready to try the forward Riviera and will be on the Dream next Nov and based on this, will see what we book.  Last Nov was Carnival Liberty Balcony and just not worth the extra $$ for us.
