Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

Yeah the price has really gone up.  I received a call from my PVP on Sunday and asked her if there was any possibility of the price going down or any ability to get on OBC or an upgrade without any additional funds paid out.  She said there wasn't any availability for an upgrade without additional money.  I asked if there was any way to tell the clientele on the boat such as adults, kids etc..., she advised that they can not tell.  She also could not explain how the boat is so filled up being that it is the week after Christmas either.  She said some weeks just do that.

The time is starting to drop off.  Before you know it, it will be the holdiday season.  Kathy and I have been talking about Christmas shopping.  We are getting to the point for my kids of not knowing what to get them anymore.  The same problem is definitely happening for my parent s and Kathy's father and aunt and uncle.

I was trying to come up with ideas on how to tell them.  I had one thought of giving them each an envelope with a piece of paper on it with just one word on it each.  Then they would have to work together to try to figure out the meaning and see if they can guess that they are going on the cruise.  We are thinking of holding out until the day before the cruise to tell them.  That would really freak them out.

Ok that would be mean to hold out to the day before and also alot of work for Kathy to get it all together in 1 day.ANother small group joined on CC they have 6 boys going ages 19-22.So the boys will have more to hang out with.

I've been trying to get hold of my TA to make final payment but she must be on a trip.I have asked before about the people on the ship an they will never tell me any thing. It's funny also if you ask how many kids are onboard while you are on the ship they always say around 600.I think it's all of your neighbors going on this cruise.I think most of the people on CC are from right around where you live.

I always have trouble finding gift for my parents. They either have it or buy it for them selves.I have found that they like to get magazines. So every year I renew or find a new one that they would like.As for the kids  I have them make a list of what they want and what store it's at.That way if other family members needs ideas I can tell them just what they want.I've been yelling at Justin this past week because he hasn't given me the list yet.

We use to give the kid a piece of paper with a hint to where the next hint could be found and then do that about 6-7 times and then they final one would have a big clue or we would right in one of those weird fonts so they would have to look on the computer to find the answer. You could give hints to go where things are that they will need for the cruise and have them gather all the things up and ask what they would need them for.

Hey there...no haven't gone on the cruise without you.  Just been busy at work and have not had the time to post.  I also noticed that they removed the cruise from the search.  Thought based on the time of year that the cruise might be empty but, guess not.  Looks like a full boat.  The time is really starting to fly off the clock now.  Are you packed yet?

I didn't think the cruise would sell out either.I was hoping for an upgrade.I think it's all the people from around where live.I bet you will know someone on the ship.I wonder once final payment is due if people will change there minds and cancel and we will see back up.

No I 'm not packed yet.I will work on that our next day off from school.I do have to get our winter clothes out. This past week it got really cold here.About a hour from here they had snow. The high here last week was only in the low 40,s.IN school they had no heat turned on and parents must have called and complained because the next day we had a little heat.

Ah...the cold is starting to set in....I don't miss that.  I think it was a balmy 70-75 yesterday.  Although there was a little bit of nippyness in the air this morning but I am sure by noon time it will heat up just nicely.  I'm sure by the time Jan rolls around you and the family will be wanting really bad to get down here.

What are you tallking about I'm ready to go now,not just because of the weather. Some of the kids in class this is year are a handful and by the end of the day I come home and make myself a DOD. If someone said you have a hour to get ready I could do it .Have you made your final payment yet?I paid it off last week with tips,I hope they don't start that fuel charge.

I can tell you that we are ready to go too.  We paid the trip off in full when it was booked.  The only thing I didn't think of is paying off the tips early, hmmm, should run that one by Kathy.  Yeah, I hope they don't do the fuel surcharge either.  Just adds to the cost, would be a bummer.  Argh, is it time to go home yet?

Sounds like your work has been crazy too.It looks like Jimmy is going to get laid off real soon, some are getting it Monday. That's why we are trying to get every thing paid off.His parents will flip when they find out that we are going on a cruise while he is laid off.

Are you getting the h1n1 shot? Sarah and I are getting it free in school.I want Jimmy and Justin to get it since we are traveling and JImmy is a diabetic.

Yea, work is a little crazy right now.  In the middle of a project and have several meetings a day regarding it.  Hate meetings, mostly nonsense anyway.  Sorry to hear about Jimmy's job.  Real tough times ahead.  Hopefully he can find something real soon.  If they find out about the cruise, just tell them that this was a year in the making and that it has been paid off for months already so nothing to worry about.

I have never gotten the flu shot and I don't think I am going to start now.  Are there enough supplies in your area for everyone to get it?  I thought for now mostly it was medical personnel and high candidates like pregnant women?

Last week they had a free  flu shot thing in the area. The one closest to us ran out of H1N1 shot ,they gave out 2000 of it. The schools are giving out free shots or mist to any one who goes there. That's where Sarah I will get it.They seem to have it here in the area, maybe they are giving it the areas that have colder weather as we are stuck inside more and can't have windows open. There seems to be enought of it in the area.Do they not have where you are?

Wow it seems the time is really falling of quickly now.Have you decided what you are going to do yet? They one guy I work with keeps trying to have me take Justin off and take him instead. He went on his first cruise this past summer and now is hooked.

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

According to the news last week, the Tampa area had an abundance of shots to go around.  But then they came back with another news report that the area was not getting as many as first thought.  Kathy and I were talking about this yesterday about the kids getting the shots.  Then we got a call from the school phone system last night saying that the shots will be available next week.

We really haven't talked much about what we are going to do yet.  Although, last night we when to a school function for Tonie where they were discussing CAS hours.  Kathy mentioned the cruise and Stingray City.  The Guidance Counselor said Tonie could use those hours if she incorporates the trip into some kind of Science element into a scrapbook.  Although she does not know it yet...

Now you have to hope that the teacher doesn't slip up and say something to Tonie. She is going to love it that you are have given her more homework. What happens if Tonie won't get in the water with the rays, will that affect the homework part?

I may not have to worry about getting the H1N1 shot ,one of kids went home yesterday with 104 temp.If he has it the whole class may end up with it as he is our deaf blind student and you have to sign in his hands and most of talk to him ,so we all share his germs. The teacher also went home with a fever and the other aide is going to be out today because he has been sick.Do you have many cases ofthe flu in the schools down there?

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

I'm pretty sure the teacher will not say anything...Yeah, I can't to see the look Tonie's face when we tell her that she is already approved to do this assignment.  Not sure if Tonie would get in the water with them.  She already said last year when we went that she wouldn't.

I am not sure if there are many cases of the flu in the schools yet.  But all I know is that we need to keep an eye on Cody.  When he gets sick he usually has a cough for about 2 months or so.
