All up and coming cruisers to the Mexican Riviera on Nov 29, 2009 please drop a line and maybe we can all enjoy the cruise knowing some people before hand.

I will start my husband and I will be on this cruise for our 10 year anniversary, the last time we cruised was in 2006 onboard the Fantasy to Nassau.  This will be a great experience and a wonderful journey

 Right now we are planning for our 30th anniversarry cruise - Spririt to Hawaii; however, we are thinking about taking this cruise 11/29 too. The only thing holding us back is that it's a Sunday to Sunday cruise. Since we're in the eastern time zone, we prefer a Saturday return. We like the ports though, so maybe we'll see you on board!

I sure hope you decide to join us on this cruise...I agree I think the ports would be amazing.

 We just booked it! I told my husband we must be nuts - 2 cruises in one year! The rates were so great tho, we couldn't pass them up. 8 months to go...

Us too! It has been a long, cold and miserable winter this year and a glimpse of some warmth in Nov/Dec will be a breath of fresh air!

Well we are getting closer to this amazing cruise...I have invited all my friends to sail too.  Hopefully they get their act together and come along.  The more the merrier!

This is certainly an inactive cruise thread right now. There must be a lot of people booked though because when we made our reservation it was slim pickins for a good balcony room (except the suites and such). We leave Friday for our cruise before this one. After that, I'll get even more anxious for this one! I heard the ship is awesome. I found a lot of good links to photos on here.

Hey all;

Wow!! I'm so excited to see the roll call for this cruise!

My DH and I will be onboard--we went on our very first cruise this past October on the Paradise for the 5-day Catalina/Ensenada jaunt and have been hooked ever since. The first thing we did when we returned was to start planning our next cruise! This one sets sail on his birthday----so we will have a special toast at sail away, and likely some cake & singing at dinner! (He will be so embarrassed).

We have also invited another couple who are very dear friends and they have booked as well. My sister and her DH may be joining us too---we will know within a week or so.

I'll never forget how excited we were when we first saw the Paradise docked at port in L.A. It was like being a kid at Christmas all over again!

I'm starting to think about the shore excusions and whether or not I'll have a heart attack if I try the zipline in P.V.---(just had a good checkup with the cardiologist, so maybe I'll chance it!) Swimming with the dolphins has been the biggest thing on my wishlist for a very long time, so I definitely want to do that.

I would like to say hi to the folks from Yorkton, Sask.--we are from Calgary, and I believe our Stampeders will trounce your Roughriders this season! (Let's talk about it on board the Splendor over a coconut monkeyhead drink, shall we?)

It's nice to see a roll call active for this sailing.  I'm from Arizona and I will be also celebrating my bithday on the sailing day.

This is my first cruise with Carnival and to the Mexican Riviera.  It's going to be a lot of fun.  I have cruised with Royal Caribbean and they usually have a welcome event for the people that follow a roll call on line.  Do you know if Carnival also have the same events?  It wil be nice to meet new people.

That's neat that you're celebrating a B-Day on November 29th as well as my DH! We're looking so forward to this cruise---by the time we sail, we'll be well into the Canadian winter and very anxious to suntan on the Lido deck down in sunny Mexico.

I'm not sure if Carnival has a welcome event for those folks who respond to roll call online beforehand---perhaps someone out there knows the answer to that question?

Welcome to the roll call and welcome to Carnival! I cruised with RC once years ago at the suggestion of my travel agent. We were seriously disappointed and have been back with Carnival ever since. The only kind of "welcome" or "meet & greet" I have seen from forums like this are ones the paticipants set up.

The last cruise we were on sounded like an anniversary cruise (us included). Now, this one sounds like the birthday cruise! We are looking forward to this cruise as well. Always love the new ships!
