Im ready for the countdown to begin..... This is my third one.

You and me both... Im a cruise a holic.... lol. This is my 3rd one, and I am thinking about doing one next yr too.... I wanna check out the new Dream too. That ship is incredible.

This is my 6th and my husband's 2nd.  It is our 2nd on Carnival.  I am looking into another one for next year, I was also checking out the Dream.  It does look incredible. I have to talk my husband into it, as he wants to go back to Hawaii next year. The countdown clock is moving way too slow for me!  I'm addicted to this site!

I would love to do a Hawaiian cruise too, it can be pricey, but I have an awesome pvp. I love the site, think its one of the smartest things that carnival has done. Its a nice way to network, and as time draws near you meet people from all over the world who will be on your cruise. I need to get me a clock going. Im slipping here... lol.

I agree, I am so glad that carnival has this site. Even though I have cruised before, I have gotten so many great ideas that I never even thought about before.  I want to book our tours before we go, since I've read that some times they are already sold out when you get on board.  We are looking to do some from the cruise and not sure about St. Thomas.  Everyone raves about Sunny Listen, so we may do that one, although I would really like to do a private tour as we don't want to spend a couple of hours at a beach.  I have plenty of time to figure that out :( 

We do not cruise when we go to Hawaii.  I have been there 9 times and I pretty much know where to stay, do etc, and can get good rates.  It is my husband's favorite place in the world and would go there every year if I would let him, but I like to go to places that I have never been.  Hopefully, I can talk him into going on the Dream next year.  I will start working on that real soon!

Have you been on the Eastern Cruise before?

I have never done the Eastern Caribbean before. My first cruise with carnival was the Western Caribbean which included Cozumel, Mexico,  Cayman Islands, and Ocho Rio Jamaica. The last cruise was the Southern Caribbean which included San Juan PR, St Thomas, Barbados, St Lucia, Dominica, St Kitts, and Antiqua.. It was non stop....  I have never been to the Bahamas and im looking foward to it because how beautiful the Half Moon Cay is. I also look foward to the Grand Turks and Caicos. Im really looking foward to the Dream. I will be on the Dream next yr. Hello Lakewood, Ohio

Not sure where that is. My husband and I will be on the Eastern Carribean cruise. We are outside of Toledo, Ohio. This will be my 2nd and my husbands 1st. I'm excited, he's been dragging his feet. Still contemplating the excursions.

My daughter and I sailed on the Holiday last November and had a blast; we were booked in a suite....so I may be spoiled. The suites were a little to costly for this cruise; so I made sure we booked a room with an extended balcony.

Yay, a fellow buckeye.... I think I am definately addicted to this cruising with carnival. This will be my 3rd. One of the best things to rave about is now since this will be your 2nd, you will get a gold sail and sign card and you will be invited to the special cocktail party. I did the Southern Carribean aboard the victory, which was alot of fun. Its the best one because you go to a different island everyday...non stop. I look foward to this one though, seems like a nice one is in store for us. I think your husband will find something to do, there is something for everyone. I am from Lakewood which is right by cleveland..... Im from cleveland. Hummm, I wish I could afford life in a suite, but my pvp always hooks me up, especially since I travel solo....

Can't wait this is my hubbys and mine 2nd, my sis is coming along and it is her 1st..YAH.  We are also bringing our little girl she will be 4 by then. Does anyone else have small children going?  Any information about camp carnival would be helpful.

We were originally looking at the southern caribbean for this year but then decided on the eastern onee.  Did the southern leave out of San Juan? 

We are going down a day early and staying in Miami.  Leaving from Phila.  Last time we cruised we just flew down the day of the cruise, but this year we want to make sure that the day of the cruise is not rushed.  I think we are going to sign up for horse back riding in Half Moon Cay.  I hear that the island is beautiful. 

Hey there, I am actually thinking about going down a day ahead myself.... I would like to check Miami out for the day and relax before the big trip you know. I have a friend who lives in flordia so I may call him up and see if he will hang out with me. I am coming from Cleveland, Ohio so its right next to ya. I have heard many nice things about Half Moon Cay and I specifly wanted to go on this itenerary because it had HMC on it... Its beautiful there, and its Beautiful on the Turks and Caicos....

We are staying at the holiday Inn which is close to port.  I heard mixed reviews on it, but it will only be one night and it is right across from the mall.  I don't plan on spending too much time there anyway, just to sleep.  I'm looking into things to do while we are there.  Might as well get started on the vacation a day early!  I want to get my excursions planned first and then I can look into what to do in Miami.  We did not get to take a vacation last year, so I am so ready to go on this one, even though it is months away!

Im in the same boat as you. I know that I will only be in the hotel for 1 night, and im not expecting things to be perfect. All I care about is that the room will be clean and that I can get a good nights sleep before the big departure... I probally wont be able to sleep anyways because I will be too excited of course. I try to take a vacation whenever I can because I work really hard and I never do anything else. Im going to be going to school here soon too so I will really have no time. I try to do one yearly or everyother yr. I want to get to Platinum status... smiles. We can count down the time together and make these months go by superquick....

Boy am I with you!  I put in really long hours at work and the count down clock is moving way to slow.  I keep trying to stretch the vacation time.  There are 4 of us going and first I said, hey let's go down a day early, and they all agreed.  Now I am looking at flights and said - hey does anyone want to fly down on Thursday night instead of friday morning?  No one has jumped on that one yet.  It seems like I am the only one in our group that is excited about the cruise.  I guess it is too far out for everyone else.  I keep checking air fares everyday to see when they post November flights.  I am looking at AirTran and Southwest.  They both have great deals but don't have November listed yet.

Have you checked out any of the excursions yet?

You are really motivated, working really hard and going to school.  I'm not sure I could squeeze it all in.
