Is anyone else booked to sail on the Carnival Dream 1/02/10?  Me and my husband are booked. We are ready to start our New Years with a "dream".  We are excited we are booked in a Spa cabin, I can't wait. Hope to hear back from some fellow passangers.

 Is this your first Carnival cruise?  I am so excited about going.  Maybe we can all meet and have a drink. 

 Yes, kinda......My parents went on a Carnival cruise a year ago, and my husband children and I just went on the Oasis of the Sea (Royal Carribean) in Jan.  So yes my first time on Carnival.  I as well am so excited, my whole family is.  That would be great us all getting together to have a drink, how many are in your group?

Sorry, it taken me so long to respond...just a little busy.  Its just going to be me and my husband.  This will be our 1st cruise alone in a long time the last time we went alone was in March 99 for our honeymoon.  The children and my mother are going to stay home this trip.  Where are you coming from?  Its only a little over an hour trip for us to get to Port Canaveral, but I'll be there around 10:00-10:30.

 I know, can't wait.  We get to go on a new ship that will only have been in Port Canaveral for one month.  You have a far ways to go, are you flying in a day before or the same day?

Yes, we always come in at least 1 day. We are actually considering 2-3 days early so we can have the holiday @ disney world.

That sounds fun, I actually live about 25 mintues from Disney.  The  reason I asked was because around June last year I was on this website and I saw where this poor lady was on her way to Tampa and due to weather they had to stop in Orlando, and was stuck in Orlando and had to rent a car to drive to Tampa to catch the ship since the flight would have not made it in time.  So, anyone that is flying in should come in at least a day or two earlier.  Its an easy drive from Disney to Port Canaveral. 

Have you ever checked out cruisecritic.com  it has lots of information and pictures too. We have a roll call going there also.

Just off the Splendor and thinking this will be the next cruise for me, I will be trying to talk my family into this one.

We are booked on the Dream 1-2-2010. There are 14 of us. We will be driving down from Gainesville,  Ga. Can't wait.

We will be sailing with you and be driving down from Canton,Ga. Don't all Georgians drive to Florida every chance we get? It will be my husband, me, our 19 year old son  and a friend of his. Hope there will be more young adults this Jan. since he is on college break maybe more will be on the ship. We just came back May 28th and would leave again tomorrow if we could. Here's to beautiful places and lots of fun as usual on Carnival.

I am sure that there will be more young adults on the cruise, since it will be winter break.  There are 7 couples of us coming from Cumming, Kennesaw, Clarkesville and Alabama.  We will probably drive down the day b4 and stay at the Holiday Inn in Cocoa Beach.  That is what we did back in December.  What about ya'll?
