It could be better. It could be only 1 day left! But it will be nice to leave the freezing cold in February and be in the sun for a week. We could have used a little more sun this summer. Keep dreaming.

    Hey... I 'member you !!

Well, maybe not, I was on the Freedom last Feb also, to the canal, Feb 14
We had a great meet and greet, and I had this quite beautiful lady with me

Aside from the piano bar, the Freedom is a wonderful ship, thankfully they've changed that
I sailed her again end of May, looking at a Jan sailing now also.. (it's not that I don't like Iowa winters, it's just... well... wait, it IS that I don't like Iowa winters!!)

I am the friend lol... Gail and Rick from page one lol.... I have not been on for a bit, but have read everything about the Dream, I can get ahold of, including looking at every photo I find, I am all set with my air fare as well, and have booked my room, for the night before at the Radisson, and I have a car booked as well. , I just need my suitcase packed and I am good to go.

Okay so now we are down to 124 days. In that time are all of the holiday celebrations and we all know how fast time flies around the holidays, so I'm thinking it won't be long before we are all on board. We are also staying at the Radisson the night before. Maybe we will all have that "Dreamy" look and be able to pick each other out at the bar. (Okay, vacation is sorely needed at this time....the brain is slightly fried) If anyone has any great ideas for excursions that they have been on before, I am having trouble deciding and could use a little input. Enjoy the fall...the foliage is beautiful here in New Hampshire.Big Smile

    Good Morning....

I do think the time is flying also, I do in home childcare and I find Mondays drag, and then before I know it we are putting everything away getting ready for the weekend.

Last year we stayed at the  Radisson, and I knew as soon as I entered the bar/pool arrea that I found someone on our roll call, she was sitting there with her husband, and I called her name and she jumped up,  we had no plans of meeting so it was a bonus,  we spent the rest of the evening with them, and went to the port the next day together it was a lot of fun.

We have no plans yet my husband would love to go ziplining again, so if anyone is going to do that we are going to see if he can hook up with them, while I stay behind, with someone that wants to just go to the beach and soak up the sun.

N.H. is starting to get some real pretty color,

    Take care

    Gail

Well all, we are into double digits finally....96 days and counting down. At least we have the holidays to help while the time away. We haven't decided on any shore excursions yet although I really would like to see the Mayan Ruins, the zoo in Belize, possible snuba(?) probably snorkel and there is still the thought of doing the zip-line. Right now I have my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom and occasionally I toss something in it, although the serious packing won't happen yet. (I hate wrinkles). I think of things I might need and have started a list.

Hope that everyone is as excited as me.

Anyone new out there on our crusie?

I have already started thowing things into a bag also, things I would not think to pack when the serious packing begins.

I cannot believe how fast it is coming considering I booked so long ago ( over a year) , I think the month on January will be the longest month , your right the holidays will help, for November and December.

Hi Martha and Keene State Mom (and others) I am booked on this cruise, going 'solo' - actually cruising with mom and dad, brother and SIL, I am 50, from CT, first cruise, would be nice to know someone on board right away.

How are the prices at the Radisson if I decide to come in the night before, I'm getting a little nervous and anxious making sure everything falls into place!!!!

    Hi Sara

welcome to the 50's club lol.. my husband and I are both in out 50's also. How far away from foxwoods casino are you ?  We were just there last weekend, we are almost two hours away, I live in Nashua N.H.. Raddison is about 107. then with tax and everything it was about 118.  something like that, we stayed there last year, and I was happy with it, they have a beautiful pool area, which was heated but it was cool outside so we did not go in it, we did go next door and get something to eat and sit by the pool and eat. If you have any question ask away... Is this your first cruise?

    Re: Roll call 2/6/2010

yes, this is my first cruise so I am trying to be as prepared as possible.  Probably will just fly in that morning since pretty much the only flight from Bradley gets in around 10:45.  I am in Windham, so pretty close to both Mohegan and Foxwoods, one of my daughters works at Mohegan and my younger one at Foxwoods before she moved to the Keys in June.  I am on the 9th deck (almost called it 'floor').

    Hi Sara,

Welcome to the Dream 2/6/10 Roll Call and the boards. There's lots of info here and lots of folks to answer questions. I am traveling with my sister, her partner and our friend, doing the "Girl Crusie"...leaving my husband and kids back in NH. We are flying in the day before because as you know New England weather is pretty unpredictable especially in winter. Give us a  little wiggle room because we booked our flights on our own and we're staying at the Radisson at Port Canaveral. There are lots of great cruise guides you can check out...go to Frommers.com or go to Amazon.com and search cruises. It will give you some reading and ideas for what to expect.

Sara if you are not coming in a day earlier you might want ot consider an small insurance policy incase of snow delay.I have waited on the runway more then once while they de ice the plane in February.  Some insurances will refund your money others will fly you out to your first port, where you can meet the ship, I myself would rather cancel it all and start over,on a different week .
