I have a question, I enjoy drinking cranberry and Vodka, and have heard I can order the bottle of vodka through the cruise ship to have in my room. My question is this. Is cranberry juice available on the ship, or am I going to have to buy that too?

I am beyond excited about our upcoming cruise.  This is going to be fantastic!!!  We booked the Canopy tours with puertovallartatours.net.  Afterwards, we're thinking about going to the Krystal Resort and enjoy their resort---I believe that it's free.  Apparently they also have massages for 2 for $75!  I think we'll probably bake on the beach in Mazatlan.  In Cabo, we were thinking about taking a water taxi to check out the rock formations in the water.  BTW, what is Cabo Wabo?  Rob is also dying to go parasailing, but we're going to play it by ear.  The folks on cruisecritic want to do a meet and greet, and are thinking about after we sail on the first day.  You just have to promise me one thing JAG....that our one and only goal is to make sure that we have a blast on this cruise!!!!

Before you know it----our countdown will be in single digits!!!

You can probably bring the cranberry juice onboard with you.  You may want to also confirm that the Vodka will be delivered to your room.  If I remember correctly, if you purchase alcohol from Carnival----it's delivered on the last night of the cruise.

If anyone is interested in a Meet and Greet, there are two informal ones set for this cruise with the folks on cruise critics.  There's one on the first day, just after we sail, at the Liner Bar---located on the Lido Deck Aft (back of the ship).  The second is on Monday at noon at the location for trivia.  Make one, make both...whatever you do, just have a ball!

Important Info about cell phone use onboard......the connection charge is somewhere around $6.00 per call, then you're charged somewhere around $2.00 per minute. There is also a charge to send and receive text messages. To be on the safe side, my DF and I just turn off our cell phones altogether. A great way to communicate is with walkie-talkies, post-its on the mirror, or we would just circle where would be on the Carnival Capers. If we don't find a reasonable price on walkie-talkies, then we're just going to communicate with post-its on the mirror. It's also a great way to communicate with your room steward, who are absolutely fantastic, by the way!

When we were on our cruise last fall I sent and recieved a ton of text messages from my family.  The only charge I had was from Verizon and it was only about 50 cents to send and about 15-20 cents to recieve .  My bill only went up a few dollars.  I have unlimited texting plan on my phone but since we were out of the USA I was charged a per text fee.  I didn't that was bad to keep in touch with my family.  I also sent a few pic texts.

We'll be havin a blast no matter what!!  Cabo Wabo is a tourist bar up in Cabo, i just wanna see it.  Maybe have a Corona, grab a T-shirt... The Parasailing isn't too bad, it's only $36/person and you don't have to schedule a time to do it, so I'll be buying that one in a week or so...

The single digit countdown is definitely comin!!!  See u soon!

This is an excellent thing to know!  My 12 year old son and I will  need to communicate via text so I'm glad it won't cost me an arm and a leg after all!  Thanks for the info!

Well not to rub it in, but J and I are down to 15 days and counting, we leave here on the 3rd, coming in by Amtrak, will be in LA for the 4th and the we'll see you on the ship on the 5th!!!

Oh my!  I only have 17 days to lose 20 pounds...lol  J/K!

 I am so unbelievably excited!  A question for the cruisers... has anyone done the Horseback Riding excursion in Puerto Vallarta?  My son and I are thinking about it.  Thanks!

Just in case you're interested in how to fend off food (esp. on the cruise ship), drinking 3 liters of water a day with 2 teaspoons of Benefiber.  I did this on the cruise too, and it helped me quite a bit.

Yay!!!  It's coming around pretty fast for you!  Not to rub it in, but my last day at work is Friday so vaca for me starts at 5:01pm Friday since I don't plan to start my next job 'til after we get back.
