That sounds awesome.  The only thing is after I drink that someone might have to carry me back to the ship!!!  Is this the island that has the good snorkeling because we definitely want to do that.  The catamaran and snorkel excursion.  Would we have time to do both? 

Well one more day til you leave out Rob and your family Lorraine.  We need to come up with a specific time and place to actually meet.  We (Spencer and I) are looking forward to meeting everyone.

I remember reading about that drink (bushwacker)...I hear it is pretty potent.  I can't drink too much on this trip - since my son is coming with me.  I like to have one here and there - laying out by the pool etc.  Now, when my DH and I go to Breezes in Runaway Bay - Jamaica in June...all the drinks are included and we will not have our son with us.  So look out..ha

 Meeting somewhere on the Lido deck sounds fine to me.......we have the early dining so not sure - do you think we will have time before or maybe later on that evening.  It's so hard to plan anything with my DH - he is never on time for anything UGHHHH

Kim,  Yes, from what I have read St Thomas has better snorkeling than St Maarten.  As I told you a few days ago,  I am currently signed up for Golden Catamaran Sail and Snorkel....but that is on St Maarten.  Carnival does have a similar excursion while we are in St Thomas.  Hold on cause I will check the name of that one for you.  Its now 10:30, don't know if you will get this tonight or in the morning.  Will let u know what I find.

Kim and Lorraine,  Ok, from what I researched, the 2 best sail/snorkel excursions that Carnival offers are:

Captain Nautica Ultimate Sail and Snorkel

Christmas Cove Sail and Snorkel

I found info about both on Google.  The first is 3 1/2 hours, the second one is 4 hours.  BOTH got very good reviews by those who actually went on these exursions.

They all sound okay to me.  I'd like to snorkel at one (either island) and do something else at the other one.  I know its going to be a great time whatever we do.  Have you any weather forecasts for the 7 days?  I'm praying for sunshine.........

 Are we all going to meet at the place you were talking about Rob, Saturday evening?  You have to let us know the name of the bar at the back of the Lido deck.  Will kids be allowed there in the evening?  Say around 8:30?

Kim,  Don't know the name-if there is a name-of the bar at the back of Lido deck.  Facing the rear of the ship the bar is just off the pool to the right.  I beleive its the only bar in that exact location.  Hope that helps.  If not, let me know and I will think of a way for you to identify where you are going.

I'm pretty sure I can find it.  I looked at the map of the Lido and looks like it is called Azure bar.  So, I have no idea what I'll be wearing but if you see a blond lady and a dark headed boy (11 yr old) that should be us.  From your picture, I should be able to identify you.  So, we will plan on 8:30 Sat evening.  Look forward to meeting you and enjoying a GREAT week of vacation.

Kim,  I will also have my Carnival Liberty Baseball type cap on.  It also has 6 little Carnival Funnel pins on it just over the beak of the cap.  Look forward to meeting you, your son, Lorraine, her husband and their son.  Sounds good to me...8:30 Sat evening...we now have a plan.

Lorraine,  By now you guys most likely have left home.  You are driving to Port Orlando, right?  I flew in this morning, been at my hotel since about 1:30.  Was up at 5:30....spend last night at my sister's house and she drove me to the airport-O'hare in Chicago.  Glad I was able to take a short nap once I got to the hotel....geez, getting older...will be 58 on May 25....another reason for a couple of nice, cool drinks while on the ship...that day will be a Fun Day at Sea...as Carnival likes to put it!  Anyway, if u don't read this before leaving the house, am sure you will see it when you get back home....waaa, waaa...Rob

Barbara,  Wow, thank you so much for the Happy Birthday wish.  Its nice that you have remembered me....even tho we weren't able to meet on our Glory cruise of Jan 10, you still have thought enough of me to say HI a number of times....suppose that means you have continued to view the Glory postings.  Of course you are the lucky one to now have BTBTB cruises coming up in September and the first cruise is for your birthday....now how great is that????  Hope you, now will be WE continue to write each other on this forum so we can keep up with how things are going.
