Hi,  Thank goodness, YES they still have the chocolate buffet.....had it on the Glory this past January.  YUMMY....gotta try the fruit dipped in chocolate...now that is soooo good.

Hi,  Deborah and Russell, not quite sure who you directed this to.  Whose neighbor will you be?  You guys will have 2 more Carnival cruises than me...this will be my 8th, and I can't wait.  Yes, I know its still around 70 before we sail, but I am on Carnival's Forum site and CruiseCritic.com daily.  This will also be my first solo cruise as my 19 y/o daughter decided not to join me.  I had told her she could invite her boyfriend, but his parents nixed that idea.  So, seeing as my daughter felt she would be bored, not on the excursions, but on the ship...especially because it is more of a challenge for her to meet others in her age group.  So, I had decided not to let my daughter's decision prevent me from going, and I expect to have a great time.

Sorry to be so long getting back to your message-Russ is retired and I just quite the real estate game so it is kind of a joy NOT to be checking emails, etc. every hour.

We are in # 6251 and are with a group of about 20 ranging from small ones, little ones, middle school, high school and college plus parents and grand parents. We live in a little town about 45 minutes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are a lively group and the major celebration is a daughter graduating from LSU School of Nursing. Our last cruise was out of New Orleans on the refurbished Carnival Fantasy and we are planning aanother cruise in January about the Conquest (for the 6th time) out of Galveston. We always take different excursions and see another part of the ports, so it is always fresh to us!

Thanks for your reply!  Look forward to meeting both of you, hopefully we will be able to meet somewhere on the ship.  I was on the ship in Jan 2009 and 8 of us met at the bar by the pool at the reaar end of the ship located on the Lido Deck.  My daughter and I continue to keep in touch with 2 couples we met thru the Carnival Forums site.

 Well, since Rob checked in to the CC Roll Call, I thought I'd check in here   

Dave & Tammy (I'll be turning 48 May, 28th, Tammy 49) in Cabin 1042 & son Chris (21) & family friend Andy (25) will be all the way to the back of the boat in 7440.

We're from Bluffton, SC & will be driving down Thursday, staying at a hotel to be determined Thursdy night to miss Memorial Day traffic, then checking into the Radisson Friday afternoon before the cruise.  We plan on catching up with other cruisers at the pool bar of the Radisson Friday afternoon/evening for adult beverages & mingling 

We're booked on the 11:30 AM shuttle & can't wait to get on the ship!

Haven't booked any excursions & may just do our own thing by taxi...  half the fun is looking.

Dave,    Glad to see you decided to look into Carnaival Forum page.  Until I was reminded about the CruiseCritic site, even tho I access it almost every day, it had totally slipped my mind to see if there was a Roll Call for Glory May 23, 09....low and behold, with now 500 entries and still counting, there it was....just like magic!  Looking forward to meeting everyone on both the Carnival Roll Call and the CruiseCritic Roll Call....its gonna be soooooooo cool!

 My family and I are also staying at the Radisson Friday night.  Our immediate group includes 11 of us; however, our entire group is now up to 171 people.

Can't wait.........34 days and counting!

I will also be joining you and our Cruise Critic Roll Call gang on the Glory sailing May 23, 2009, but I will be spending that Friday night at a hotel near Orlando airport.  Hope to run into both you and your family during our get togethers.  Sure looking forward to our cruise.
