My husband and I are also considering this excursion.  Do you remember what time it started?  It states that it is 5 hours.  I'm just wondering if we can plan another excursion during the day.  Thanks!

We're on the Splendor on 20 Sept.  We've booked 2 excursions in Puerto Vallarta.  We're gonna try the "Mismaloya City Tour" (10:30-2:30), and then the "Rhythms of the Night" (3:45-8:45).  It's a docked port, so shouldn't have to worry about time on tenders as in Cabo.  I hope it will work.

    Re: Rhythms of the Night

You should be fine with the 2 excursions if you booked through Carnival.  As I recall, at the end of the City Tour, they give you time downtown for shopping.  If you run short on time (which I don't think will happen), you can take a quick (and cheap) cab ride back to the ship to get on the boat for Rhythms of the Night.
