How many packs of Cigs can you bring with you on board.

Misti - I really don't think that there is a limit on how many packs you can bring on.  Both my husband and I are smokers and I always bring a carton with us.  Needless to say we always buy cartons on the ship also, as they are cheaper.  There is a limit of 1 carton per adult passenger that you can take off the ship.

 As others have said, bring as many as you want onboard. If you buy any on the ship, you'll notice they don't have a state tax stamp on them, which is what Customs is looking for.

They don't limit the amount you bring.  My husband and I brought a carton each - but we wouldn't have done that had we known that in the duty free shop we could get two cartons for $44!  We're in Texas, where the tax on cigarettes is outrageous, and that was cheaper than the price of one carton here.  They are limited in what Marlboro brands they carry, (no menthol) but they had Lights, light 100's and Ultra Lights.  They did have menthols in Kool, Virginia Slims, Benson/Hedges and Newport.  Unlike the alcohol you purchase, you don't have to leave the smokes until the end of the cruise.

You can smoke in your cabin and other designated areas of all Carnival ships.

For the OP as far as I know there is no limit on how many packs you bring on board, I usually take a carton. If I am wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected.

Carnival ships are not smokeless  I think Catherine is having a Dream.  no offense

 And she said it started Jan 1 of this year... I sailed in Feb of this year... and people were smoking onboard.

You can smoke in designated areas.  I brought a carton with me on my cruise last month.

I just got off a boat Monday and the ship was not smoke free.  Everyone that was smoking did seem to be holding it to the designated smoking areas.  Not once did I see someone smoking in elevators, gangways, or enclosed areas of the ship with the exception of the "smoking allowed" bars and the casino.
