We will be on board!!!  It will be our first time going to the Eastern/Southern Caribean, but our third time on the Miracle!!!  Hope there will be a fun group on board!!!

I am back only a few days from a cruise with awesome Carnival Splendor (Eastern Carib.). It was awesome! It was my second cruise with CCL, first was with Valor (western Carib.) last year. So I am really excited and looking forward to explore the southern part of the Carib. with the Miracle. I love to explore destinations on my own, too. I totaly agrree, it´s more fun and more exploration!

I just booked this cruise, we changed from our planned 12-19-09 cruise on the Liberty (Western Caribbean) because of scheduling problems.  This will be our third cruise with CCL.  We have been on the Legend and the Victory and are looking forward to the Miracle.  I have read some nice reviews about the ship.  I am just a little disappointed that they have not added the Jumbo Screen as they have on other ships however I am still looking forward to traveling with other cruise lovers.  Originally we were to be traveling with all of my children for a Christmas cruise however my oldests sons were unble to schedule time off and will not be attending.  We will be traveling with my youngest son (14) and hope to hear from other families with children onboard.  He is at that awkward stage of not wanting to feel like a third wheel and wants to hear from others his age.  My wife and I have also been known to be a part of the Monkeyhead Club and have started a bit of a collection.  I look foward to hearing from others.

6 month, 1 weeks and 3 days till our trip. I am so looking forward to cruise again with carnival. I am a single cruisin women and I am looking forward to meet lots of new people and get new friends. The last cruise I´ve been on was in november with the Splendor. Month before I joined a thread and there were so much nice people and we really couldn´t wait to get to know each other in person. We all met on the ship, the youngest 18 the oldest in his 60th. Single, married, divorced, all kind of people. and we really had a GOOD time! Hope to meet you soon and let´s keep in touch!

I am sure we will have an awesome cruise. I am soo looking forward to see the southern islands! Have u ever been on them? Any suggestions? Did you already booked any shore excusions? Whre didi you guys come from? I live near Cologne/Germany.

This will be our second cruise to the Southern Caribbean.  in November of 2008 we cruised out of San Juan and made stops at St. Thomas, St Lucia, Antigua, Dominica, Barbados and St. Kitts.  All of the islands were beautiful. 

When in St. Lucia I would highly recomend the Land and Sea combo to Soufriere excursion.  We did this excursion and had a wonderful time even in the pouring rain.  Your board a very comfortable coach bus and travel across the island stopping in a small fishing village and then on to the Soufriere Volcano where you can actually walk down into the mouth of the volcano.  You reboard the bus and head down to a beautiful botanical garden for a short walking tour.  You again board the bus and head down to the pier for a fun filled Catamaran ride past the majestic Pitons, to a quite cove for a brief swim before setting sail back to the Cruise ship. 

My younger sister lived in St. Kitts for several years and she recommended we take the beach excursion which ended in Frigate Bay.  There is a quaint little beach bar called Mr. X's Shiggity Shack.  there was delicious food and fantastic drinks.  It is a small beach area with lounge chairs and plenty of entertainment.

We have not yet been to St. Maartens so we will be looking for some new adventures when we dock there.

 My wife and I have been on three cruises with Carnival and are looking forward to our fourth.  We are from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the good ole USA

Just booked this cruise today, So we will join in on the forum of excitment and anticipation. This will be our 7th.cruise 5 of which were on Princess cruise Lines and the 2nd on Carnival. We will be bringing my Niece on this cruise this will be her 1st. Cruise and we are excited to share it with her she is 23 yrs.old from Charleston S.Carolina and My husband and I are from Asheville N.Carolina. We look forward to sharing the next 5 months with you all planning our trip. (I love the anticipation) It's half the fun.

Welcome Aboard!!!  I was starting to wonder if the ship was going to be empty.  My mother and I will be sailing on this cruise, it will be our first time going to the Eastern/Southern Caribbean, looking for suggestions on what to do.  The trip Sgt. Glenn suggested sounds great.  Hope to meet everyone on board, perhaps we can all get together for a drink!!!  Until then, let the anticipation build!!!

Welcome aboard Pam, glad to see others joining the fun.  You will love the southern caribbean.  My younger sister lived in St. Kitts for several years and all she can think about is going back.  We enjoyed the island when we visited last year and are looking forward to returning.   We are also looking forward to the two days "at sea", the last cruise we had with two days inbetween ports was a blast.  We became members of the Monkeyhead Money Wasters Club, spent most of our time soaking up the sun at the pool on the rear deck and just enjoyed meeting new cruising friends on board.  This cruise may slow us down a bit because we are bringing our youngest son who is 14 yrs old however I am sure he will be trying to lose us as much as possible.

Let's all meet on the Lido deck for a nice cold specialty drink as we set sail.
