    Need Help Cruising

We've never been on a cruise the first one we were going to go on was canceled do to hurricaine Kartrina. We're thinking of doing a cruise around News Year Eve. We would to like to sail out of the Port of Galveston. I'm not sure what would be the best boat, the best cabins to get etc. Is there any gambling on these ships? We need help.

    Alspals,

The Conquest out of Galveston would be a great boat for New Years.

I left a year ago today on it, and out of two other Carnival boats, the Conquest was by far the best.

It also has gambling on board.

As far as cabins, I prefer a balcony on deck 9 forward (most of the food is on that deck).
