Now to kill 30 days before my cruise on the Holiday.  So far is appears to be three couples that are sailing on the Holiday and three days later we sail on the Fantasy.

Welcome aboard.  Or you could just count down just the Fridays and say  4 more to go.  We have a little get together right after muster drill on Deck 11 Verandah Aft on the port side by the Waterworks.  You are welcome to come over and say hello.

I also have a one hour cocktail party scheduled for the first seaday in the Cat's Lounge at 2pm.  It cost $11.44pp.  I have to have a final list in by 10/27/09.  I am paying for it upfront and everyone is paying me back when we get onboard.  You can come over to http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=835115   to say hello.  There is a lot of folks chatting about this sailing there.

Got you added to the cocktail party. (let me know if I misread what you wrote as I guess you could be implying adding to the rollcall instead of the cocktail party)   I have already paid for it upfront, reimburse me when we get onboard the ship.  Carnival has gone up on their drink prices at the first of the month.  But they have not gone up on the cost of the one hour cocktail party.  So that makes it an even greater bargain.  The party is on the first seaday (Nov 11) at 2pm in the Cat's Lounge on Deck 9 MID.

We also have a meet & greet right after muster drill on Deck 11 Verandah AFT port side by the Waterworks.  This is so we can finally put faces to screen names.

Hi Pam and Randy, We are from Indiana also, where do you live? Do you drive or fly down? This will be our 8th cruise, can't wait to go again. Our last cruise was in August and was on the Holiday. We are really looking forward to the new ship.

Yes, we are looking forward to the cocktail party, plus meeting everyone!  Sure hate to hear drink prices have increased.  I sailed the Holiday (one last time) in September, with my sister in law.  It was one of those last minute "I've got to get on the ship" trips, and was wonderful.  I too, booked this 11/10/09 cruise last October.  Thanks again and we'll all meet soon!

Good as I could read it both ways.  I am on the Holiday's last sailing and am going to miss the ship when she is gone.  Here we got excited about the Fantasy only to have it moved on us after a short period of time.  

Not sure what you have planned for Cozumel.  There are 8 to 10 of us going on the Cozumel Bar Hop tour.  www.cozumelbarhop.com   It is a good way to visit some of the talked about places in Cozumel plus you get to see the East side of the island.  We are going to try and talk them into letting us stop at Mezcalito's which is not on the schedule.  So it might be six stops instead of five.

<> You know how people are always asking for your email address or cabin number when you are on the ship.  Usually you dont have a pen or paper.  I went ahead and had some business cards made up at Vistaprint.   I left the cabin number blank so that I could use them on more than one sailing.

We live in New Castle, which is 50 miles directly east of Indianapolis.  We always drive, we like the time together, and one of us really prefers not to fly.  This is 5 for me and 4 for Randy....

Where in Indiana do you live, This is a small world, are you going to attend the meet and great after the muster drill?

  We live outside Bedford which is 25 miles south of Bloomington. We always drive too, we like the time together and even though we both love to fly we also like to go down a few days early and enjoy staying at Gulf Shores. The drive to Mobile isn't bad and we also like to drive to Charleston, SC which is exactly the same miles for us. We have sailed on Norwegian from there but didn't care for that ship. We will be glad when the Fantasy is there and we will have a choice of cruise destinations.We are planning on attending the meet and greet after the muster drill. Hope to see you there.
