Our emergency contact was called late Sunday the 28th and told the ship would be late departing Houston on the 29th and not to arrive til 3:30pm. We were never called directly. The ship didn't sail until after 8PM. There were some people that had to wait over three hours to board. I don't know what the reason for that was. We arrived at Bayport about 12:30PM, The stated time and were allowed to drop off our luggage and instructed to return after 3PM.

      We returned a little before 3 and were able to park in an overflow area and proceeded to the terminal. We checked in and were in group 2 to board. The debarking passengers were still not off the ship. CCL had box lunches from Jason's Deli, free, and water that they were passing out. Boarding started a little after 4PM. We were on board by 4:30PM.

      We had requested late seating and were assigned early so we had to go to the dinning room to get it fixed. Only one couple in front of us and we were able to get assigned late seating with no problem.

      After boarding we learned that we were to receive an OBC of $15 per person to cover the missed lunch on board.

      I talked to several people that were very upset about how the whole situation was handeled. But as has been stated on this forum before only you can let minor sh** ruin your vacation. I could have chosen to be pi**ed but  choose to have a great time and we did.
