I hope you have a wonderful time on your first cruise. Myself, I loved everything about our first cruise. My family left Galveston on Sept. 7th, just before hurricane Ike came into the gulf. We had a couple of rough days, but the patches worked wonders. Even though we lost our 2 vehicles at the port of Galveston and were out additional money for rentals to get home, we absolutely enjoyed the cruise. It was a little difficult finding my way around such a huge ship but I did manage to use the confusion as my daily exercise routine. My husband, on the other hand, figured it out early and was a great help to me. The food was great but remember you can order things that aren't on the menu on a particular day and they will even prepare your eggs differently on the buffet. The only thing I really got tired of was the scrambled eggs on the buffet. You can always eat breakfast in the main dining room or, as I mentioned earlier, go to the omelet station where they will cook your eggs however you want. I kept forgetting this, and just ate the scrambled eggs. Entertainment was great and the cruise director was wonderful, a great personality and comic as well. Bingo was fun, but everyone has complained about the price of the cards, probably because they didn't win. I won one game, however, I had to split the winnings with 3 other people. Everything said, I would love to go again in the near future. I hope you have lots of fun.

So sorry to hear you lost two vehicles first time cruiser.  Did you park at EZ Cruise Parking?  Have you been able to recover your vehicles?  It must have put a damper on your cruise, but I think it is just wonderful that you had a great time in spite of things.
