    Where are the Suites????

Ok, I've been going over the deck plans repeatedly and either I'm seeing wrong or there's only a handful of suites on this ship and not one of them are at a location for a wraparound balcony! It looks like all the suites are about mid-ship and I can't find anything mentioning an extended or private or even semi-private balcony. I'm not sure if a mid-ship regular balcony suite is at all worth the extra money I was prepared to spend. Now, VIP check-in ... THAT'S worth it lol

    Anyone know anything about this?

    Re: Where are the Suites????

Yup, they are all midships on the Empress Deck.  You are right, in that the stern rooms with the wrap-around balconies appear to have the large balconies.  According to the room information on cruisestaterooms.com, a standard room balcony is 35 sq ft where as the wrap-around balconies are 75 sq ft.  The category 11 balconies are 65 sq ft; and the category 12 balconies are 85 sq ft.

We are on the 3 Oct 09 cruise, how about you folks?

November 15th out of NYC here  Smile

Hmmm. I guess it's just different that there's only a few suites situated midship. We're going to have a blast regardless.

Please don't forget to post here telling us how fantastic the ship is when you return.

    Will do.

We were on the Inaugural but we changed to the second voyage party to give them a little time to work out the kinks but more because there was a real party group on the second cruise <g>.
