Can we go back to the beginning or try to get back to the reasons we joined?  Seemed so simple when I joined, buy a coconut monkey head with your favorite drink and have a blast cruising.

I have to deal with office politics at work, politics, with the organization I volunteer for and certainly with the politics of the upcoming election.  Having a group dedicated to fun and drinking should be the last place for politics.  Nominations, voting and monkey head laws are tearing the group apart.   

Could we start again please.

I am newer to this site, although an experienced cruiser and have been reading through most of this the past 24-hours. I thought to myself (at first), I cant wait to  waste money on a monkeyhead in Dec and join in the fun......until I saw the stuff about elections, yada yada yada. I would just like to join in, socialize and talk about all the joys that cruising brings without worrying about who does what, why, when, etc. Sorry, just my 2cents.

For what it's worth, I thought this was going to be about friendly relationships with other cruisers, bloggers, and enjoyers of MonkeyHeads, from all over, not an organization of politics (I get enough of that on Radio and TV). I just want to be friendly, meet up with other MonkeyHeads on cruises share fun and adventures of our cruises along with some drinks and conversation nothing more. That's my 2 cents.

Well said Teri ! ! ! !   Your 100% correct about getting back to the way it was in the beginning. I liked it when the hardest choice we had to make was where we were to meet fellow Monkey Head members on the ship.

I so agree! When this started we were all friendly and any Monkeyheads on a cruise would meet at the ships library at 10 am and at 10 pm. The library was picked because there is only one library on every ship and there arene't that many people around so we could pick out monkyhead easier. Let's just all go back to the original intent to meet, drink (anything you so choose, alcohol or non alcohol), and waste money!
