Debbie's right (I'm as shocked as the rest of you).  What do our soon to be elected officials really have to offer?  Muscle when we need a price reduction with CCL?  Bona Fide leadership?  Maybe they both just like being slapped by Debbie?   ooooohhh.

I suggest a debate with MHW offering questions for the moderator (Debbie) to see who and what they really stand for!  Hard hitting questions such as:

1.  How many monkeyheads can they put down without anyone noticing they are internally trashed?  Something I think we need to know about our leader.

2.  What is their ability to make hard decsions, putting aside their own religious ideology, political issues, and psychiatric diagnoses for the betterment of our kingdom?  I for one do not want to see someone who cannot tolerate being attacked maliciously in a position of absolute implied power.

3.  Can they dance?  huh?  we need video on youtube.

4.  And the tie breaker they would have to answer:

Which is worse, the willies or the heebie jeebies?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I seem to run into people who need their prescription refilled.  The happy pills only allow the real you to be open.  Personally, I don't take medications.  I just do what the voices tell me to do.

I dropped out of this because it has gotten way out of hand, and the FUN is gone from this forum

The main purpose of the grp forum was to have fun with like mined cruisers

and enjoy sharing ones fun of cruising and to be able to meet up with like mineded ppl while cruising

The original members who started this forum never intended this to get to the point of actually nominating & voting for members to Be In Charge

Ask any of the Original founding members that are still here on the forum

You wernt here then, so you dont know what this forum was originally all about

I have to agree with Tom the main purpose of this group was just to post and enjoy ourselves..... and then we had a dream.... about a cruise..... the Dream Cruise....a way to meet and just enjoy ourselves.... if people want to have a vote on officers let them.... that was not the purpose of the group..... after all.... the club is just a group of bloggers.... looking to just have fun....and that is what I plan on doing in Jan of 2010 on the Dream 

 I am not trying to attack or put down anyone, I just do not find all this election stuff to be fun....

As an original member of the MHWC I also have to agree with Tom.  This club was started to ease the tensions that were going on because of someone else needing to be the center of attention.  This was and is suppose to be a fun group of bloggers and nothing more.  Why does anyone need to be in charge?  And I do not believe a TA should take controll of our group as I see that becoming in their best interest and personal gain.  Scream if ya want, but  Tom really made this group take off.  If he leaves our club than shame on you.  How in one months time did all this bickering get out of hand?  I find that funny, as this was the very reason the club started, to stop all that.

I was in on this election thing from the beginning, and really thought it was a good idea.  I must admit that.  But, after seeing the strife it has caused, I see the error of my ways.

I apologize for my part in it.

I withdrew my nominations last night, and have declined the nomination for Care Monkey, although I do still care.

You all are right, Tom, Runamuc, VA_Cruiser and Phil, this is not what the club is all about.

The fun has completely gone out of it.

So, once again, I apologize, and hope that the club can go back to the way it was before.

Ramona, I too found myself interested in the beginning but it soon looked sour and too many things were getting tossed out, such as fun. I think you have shown how much you care, and personally I thank you for all the support and blogs you have posted. The information and fun have been nice to read and post responses to. I welcome all MonkeyHeads no matter what has gone on, without needing apologies, but lets get back to fun and relationship/friendship building.
