Does anybody know if there is going to be a Halloween party on this cruise????

I am booked on the October 25th 2009 (Halloween) cruise on the Conquest and have been assured that not only is there a party but that...And this is just rumor, but guests and staff dress up and have a great time. or possibly even better than great.

We were on the Conquest last year durring holloween and there was a party, costume contest, etc. We were disappointed because we did not get the word so had nothing to dress up as. One women didn't bring a costume either, but got creative and used a ton of toilet paper and made herself into a mummy. the attached video is not from our cruise, but the decorations look the same

 We were on the Conquest for Halloween two years ago and had a great time! Several people dressed up as well as the staff. They had a Grand Parade and everything. We, as well as others, decorated our stateroom door!

We were on lasts years Halloween Cruise and will be on this year's as well. The custome contest and party are fun and the custumes that were worn by guests last year were amazing. There was a contest with a prize.  

What were the prizes? I intend to win!

Well, of course, the winner recieved that much sought after ship on a stick and a bottle of champagne. I don't remember what if there was nything else.

I'm not sure if the ship will have its own Halloween party, but the group we are going with will be hosting one for WPT APL members.

Tell me more about this poker party. Does the cruise line set up tables in a seperate part of the ship or is it in the casino?

I would like to know about this to! I also seen there will be a Hugh gay party going on with entertainment.

I cruised on the Valor last year in mid October and they had a Halloween party one night.  We found out about it before the cruise somehow and ordered some nice Mardi Gras masks off of EBay.  I don't remember how we learned about it.  Maybe it was from the Carnival Currents magazine.

 So, does anybody know if they are having the parties all month again this year?  We are sailing on the Conquest on Oct. 12.

We will be holding the poker tournaments in the conference room next to the casino.  This will be a separate event for WPTAPL members.  The nice thing is that membership is free.  However, there is a small fee to participate in the tournaments and cash games and private party.  Information will be available on the ship or you can contact Getaway Easy Travel   (http://www.getawayeasy.com) and/or WPTAPL (http://www.wptapl.com).

We had a Halloween party on the Glory two years ago. I found out about it online, not through Carnival. It was called Frightfully Fun and was for all Carnival ships that cruised during the month of October. I do not remember if that was the whole month or just the latter half. We had our costumes packed and the kids took trick or treat bags. The crew had a trick or treat scavenger hunt for the kids and the adults(staff included) participated in games,deck party,costume party,etc. The photographers were set up with some themed backdrops so anyone could get their pics in costume.
We leave on the Holiday in 16 days and I've already called my PVP and another Carnival staff member and both said yes, there will be festivities this year also. They just couldn't give any details. I'm packing the costume for whatever.
