7 of us are going on the Legend anyone else? We are so looking forward to a vacation!

I am so ready for this cruise..we got our docs today so it is now official! our group consists of me, hubby, dtr, her boyfriend, his mom, and our neighbors

Hi Cathy  How old is your dtr...mine is 18, she and her boyfriend are looking forward to the cruise as well...he is excited as he is bringing his mom on her 1st cruise. We are now all counting the days

Hi Cathy yes I know about the thinking they are older, mine is the same..she has a brother 28 and a sister 25 neither of whom will be with us this time :( but maybe the next one (i hope) I think the boyfriends mom will get hooked on cruises too..it is so relaxing and I like feeling spoiled LOL   I thought there would be a few more on the board for this cruise too..but maybe they are all shy about typing 22 more days! these last 3 weeks are going to be hard to concentrate at work hope they go fast and the week we are gone goes slow

Hey Bonnie, Yes I hope the next three weeks go by fast.....What day are you coming to Fl? Are you going to be staying in Tampa? We live in Fl.We will drive over on the 19 it takes a little over a  hour to reach the port.. I really liked going out of tampa last year...See ya soon Cathy

Hi Cathy  We will drive down from Atl on Sat the 18th and stay overnight at a hotel, Hubby wants to stay neat Busch Gardens as there seems to be numerous inexpensive hotels and it is not that far from the port. We have been reading reviews on various hotels in the area, but have not made any reservations as yet...we are going to have to decide soon as 3 weeks should not take long to go by   We like sailing out of Tampa as well, since it is close to Atl. about an 8 hour drive...not to bad....we are all counting the days till the cruise now and  need to do some last minute shopping..talk more later Bonnie

Hey Bonnie Theres a really nice Embassy right near bush gardens and it used to have a shuttle to bushgardens also (not to sure if they still have the shuttle to bush gardens) I have heard if you stay at the Embassy by the airport they have some kind of deal for parking and a shuttle to the port... They have a really nice breakfast at both of the hotels.... Yeah I just got the husband to get the suitcases out so we will start getting are stuff together.... I'm driving everyone crazy with all of the cruise talk... See ya real soon take care cathy

Hi Cathy...Will have to check out the Embassy suites and see what it says and I like breakfast when I do not have to cook and clean it  Gee you really are getting ready..I still have to get clothes to the cleaners, try on what I have to see if it still fits and shop for a few things, and of course my daughter thinks she needs a whole new wardrobe! We will pack the week we leave, but I do have my list all made up so all I have to do is print and cross off as I put in the suitcase (buying forgotten items sure can be spendy) my group is getting ready so we are chatting up a storm will have a dinner together to see if we can agree on shore excursions and where to stay Sat nite....22 days go fast! talk soon Bonnie

Hey Bonnie We always stay the Embassy suites .I love there breakfast and they have a manger special at night also its well drinks and beer and wine for free,its last about two hours.... Yeah I have to get clothes to the cleaner also.... My daughter haley thinks she needs lot of new clothes also we always buy her a dress for formal night... We always over pack... See ya in 20 days.. Hi Cathy Will have to check out the Embassy Suites and see what everyone thinks.Hubby would like the manager special, but I don't think we will get to the hotel untill after 8pm..planning on leaving about noon. Saturday is shopping day here, my daughter wants a couple of new dress' for formal nite...she outgrew the one she wore to prom <sigh> gee they grow up quick! I always overpack as well hubby says he has has to fit in 1/8 of the suitcase lol also have to remember to make reservations at the kennel to board the dogs unless I can convince my son to stay here for the week. Hi Cathy...we have a few things left to get...but nothing to big or spendy (i hope) we need underwater cameras too, so will hit walmart for a couple of those.I have not decided it I am going to bring the video camera or not...my oldest daughter brought hers on the last cruise and we had a blast watching her video (she was a novice) so it had lots of bloopers. We have a balcony suite this time too, we usually get an inside, but since it is our anniversary we decided to spend a bit more.
