It is our 1st cruise, and we are just wondering - when we get off the ship in the Bahamas - what do we do with our ID's, money, camera, towels etc. while we are doing water activities? Like riding jet skis, etc.

 Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Congratulations on choosing to go on your first cruise. We're set to go on our fourth this weekend and have always enjoyed these vacations: I'm sure you will too!

I picked-up one of those small waterproof containers that you can find in most camping stores for IDs, cash, etc. They come in a variety of sizes, including something that will fit into a pocket of swimming trunks. I have a zippered pocket on my trunks, so there's no risk of losing the container while swimming.

If you are going to the Atlantis Resort, there are lockers you can rent. Be advised that it is a NO CASH resort, so you'll need a credit card or purchase a gift card.

Do people need to bring their passport when getting off on an Island?

You DON"T have to take them, we don't. The only thing you would need them for is if something happened and for some reason you had to fly home instead of returning to the ship. In this case you need as passport to reenter the USA.
